December 2015 meet and greet!

We will be at the fort Dec 4th through the 13th in a preferred loop. We just got done finalizing our fast passes and online check in. Who else will be going in December ?

well I am already on the November thread but since my trip overlaps both months I wouldn't mind joining this one too! We are arriving 11/26 and staying through 12/6. My DD was born on my bday and we are celebrating her 7th and my...ahem....birthday while we are there on Dec. 3rd! Got tickets to the MVMCP the night of our bday and reservations for CRT lunch and Wishes Dessert Party that night. Can't wait!!

We requested 700 or 400 loop, booked a premium site and hoping to be as close to the marina as possible since we have 3 MK days planned and on our Fort Day we are doing brunch at chef mickey's. Did you do a loop request?

Will be there 12/27-12/31. Tent/pop-up site, will be happy with either 1500 or 2000 loop. We prefer 2000, the sites are slightly larger and we have a small TT. Will make request during online check in.

We will be there 12/27 - 1/1 in a tent/popup site. We will be in our popup with my cousin and her family staying in a tent. I prefer 1500 because of the location but my true highest priority is that it doesn't back up to any canal as my 3 year old is a wanderer. My cousin is coming from Spain and it will be her first time camping and first time for her family to Disney World so I'm excited to show her what we love so much. My family won't be going to the parks and will be hanging out at the Fort all day! Can't wait!

Yes we did. We have a preferred loop and we requested the 300 since it is pet friendly and we are hoping to be bringing our little Doxie buster with us. We have two MK days booked as well, but we're not doing the MVMCP this year. One day I do hope to try it, maybe next year!! .

We will be at the Fort from Dec. 27, through January 14. This trip will be myself, Barb, DH, Bill, on one premium site. Next to us in another premium site will be our DD & SNL, Jody and Tim, and three precious GC, Blaze, Brynn, and Brax. We will also move over to the January thread. You will see us, we will have our two large stuffed calves, Cheeseheads, and sign, (proud dairy farmers from Wisconsin).

We will have our Mickey lamp & DH says he is making one of Mickey's nephews + our Dis sign. I understand we never know what mood Mother Nature will be in - I have be concerned about the weather traveling. We will be coming from Bastrop, Tx. Does anyone know what it is like in Louisiana, Miss., Alabama this time of the year?

it's windy along the Gulf coastal area when we are on the beach in January. If you're crossing on I-10 through LA/MS/AL/FL panhandle, that's what I would be ready for in the open areas. I-10 is well off the beach but the concept is the same. Hopefully some of the locals will chime in.

Assume you will be dropping down and traveling I-10?? It can be rainy, cold, warm, or anything between, LOL. Has even been snow!!!!! Mostly though, relatively OK travel weather - usually not anything to stop you for long, but every year can be different. Have a safe journey!

thank you all for the weather update. We will travel I-10 to I-12. Our 1st stop will be KOA @ Milton, Florida. Can't wait to meet everyone that will be home (Ft W) with us.
right now it is raining so hard & windy. We have rec'd 3" of rain so far.

We will be at FW from Dec.14- Jan.3. This trip will be DH, DD21, DD19, DS17 and myself. Have premium site , will request 400 loop. Looking forward to Christmas with the Mouse.
