December Codes historically are announced in August usless they are Pin Codes..I have been researching lol

Actually according to Mousesavers historical data, for the last 2 years, 2009 & 2010, discounts were released to the GP in July. 2009 was late July (27th) & 2010 was early July (7). More dates were released for Oc.t - Dec. in August of 2009.

Ah, it was a good weekend, lol!! Got excited, let down & then had my post called out on the Oct. code watch thread for getting people's hopes up, being optimistic about Disney offering a discount for the later part of the year, & believing in miracles!

Good weekend! Here's to hoping I can prove someone wrong & said "Told ya so!" sometime between nnow & mid-August!

I booked in 2009 in early July with my Disney Chase Visa card [for a December trip that same year]. The General Public offer came out shortly after, also in July. I can't remember but I am thinking I did the same thing in 2008 around the same time. So not sure where you are getting August from...

Got a call from Anya at Wdw regarding my email about Ferris. She apologized profusely and said they are handling it. And she also gave me a PIN for 20% off because of his rudeness. Not bad, $200 off, but I'm still hoping for FD!

If you look at the historical data of discounts offered from 2008 until 2010 for December dates:
In 2008 a package discount for packages to the GP was released on August 14, 2008. The FD was only offered to Visa card holders on September 19. Other discounts including December dates were released September 25 & then again on October 19.
In 2009, FD was made available for December dates beginning July 27 for the GP. A room only discount was also released on July 27 & then again on September 28.
In 2010, a FD promotion for December dates become available on July 6 & was announced again on August 16 as well as a GC promotion to the GP, also released on August 16 & a room only discount again on August 16.
So far, nothing for December 2011 dates as of yet.

So while 2008 was later, mid-August, for the last 2 years, 2009 & 2010, the discounts were released in July.

I too am waiting for them to post the Nov/Dec discounts for Fla Res passholders!! I know nobody really knows how they get selected for pin codes, but I NEVER get one!!!! I have had season passes for two years now and live in Fla and have 2 emails registered with Disney (that I get other emails for like MNSSHP) and I have been and stayed on site almost once a month for the past 2 years!!!!!!!! AND NOTHING!!! Maybe I go too much and they just assume I will come without one! (Which I usually do!!)

They are usually blacked out as that is Pop Warner week.

Blacked out for value resorts only? I hear that is where the PW groups typically congregate.

I think last year it was blacked out for all resorts.

And I don't know about this year, but previously the Pop Warner kids usually stayed at the All Stars and POR, so no, not all value.

I am beginning to think the same thing... I live in FL also, am a 5 year passholder, and have NEVER received a PIN... I have tried every tip and trick on these boards and nothing, ever...
I am too waiting with anticipation for the Nov/Dec FL resident/passholder discounts, but like you will probably end up going regardless.

It's could be the AP, but there are so may others without AP's who never get PINs that there's no way to know. I've one it all too..... and never gotten one.

Nope, not just blacked out at the Values, it's acros the board.

Ok, so I gave up waiting for a pin and went ahead and booked our surprise Christmas trip. Made sure to tell the cm to send some good pin ju ju my way so I could call back and lower my payment, lol. I said I would be happy with anything, mainly 40% off or free dining, I'm not picky!!

Some people who aren't going, would decide to go if there were a discount. Some people currently booked might choose to upgrade or extend their stay or add extras like the DDP.

And some of us are going to cry a river of tears because we can't afford to go at all w/out FD. :*(

Thank you for the additional info which assisted me in additional research. JIC, I booked a second itinerary to avoid Pop Warner week (the 1's on the TP crowd calendar for that week looked so inviting) as I this will be our inaugural Christmas trip.

Worst Case, I cancel one of the bookings/ADRs, while I hold out for beneficial air fare

The free Dining offer that is available now for travel thru 9/24/11 has to be booked by August 27th. Do they ever offer new promo's before the old promo date expires?? Are we going to have to wait till the end of August I am a Disney Visa holder and no new promo's for us either

I bought my tickets through Undercover and booked my stay from the 3-10 at Windsor Hills so I won't need a code.
