December 2010 CANCELLED ADR Thread - Read 1st Post (UPDATE 12-5)

I panicked a little having made my final payment a few days ago and as of yesterday, the money was back in my bank account and our trip was not paid for. EEK! I did call, even knowing their system was down, and they said not to worry. As of this morning, it's back in the system. WHEW.

That said, I haven't checked our dining reservations.

ETA: "Unable to retrieve dining reservations at this time. Please check back later."

Better than "No reservations found" I suppose. Anxiously waiting.

OKay, just got off the phone with WDW-DINE. The updates to the system are just going funky and they still have everything backed up. (Figured they would, but still got nervous.) They pulled up ADRs by reservation number. The cast member said that the site is going to be much easier to navigate when it is all done.

To address the Oct. 19 rumor, YES, it is true. They are shutting down again on the 19th.

HOpe that helps. We'll all be in ADR limbo for a week or two, I think.

We had to rebook our vacation for the end of January due to our my daughter's c-section date change. I just canceled the following ADR's. All are for a party of 4.

Dec. 3rd Kona Cafe 8:10pm

Dec. 4th Park Fare 7:55pm

Dec. 5th Kona Cafe 12:05pm
Dec. 5th Akershus Princess Dinner 6:55pm

Dec. 6th Wolfgang Puck Cafe 5:30pm

Dec. 7th Tuskar Houe BREAKFAST 9:15am
Dec. 7th Ohana 9:45pm

Dec. 8th Coral Reef 5:15pm

Dec. 10th LeCellier 8:05pm

Dec. 11th Maya Grill 5:45pm

I hope this helps someone. BTW, I was able to get EVERYTHING I wanted at the times I needed, including dinner in the Castle! It worked out for the better.

We have decided to postpone out trip until Christmas 2012 since our vacation is longer then and we just went in August. Since we are cancelling, I have an adr that I will be cancelling for 'Ohana on Christmas Day 4:55 for 4
(2 adults and 2 kids). I will be cancelling some time tomorrow if I don't hear from anyone...pm me if you want to coordinate this evening or tomorrow. GOod luck and have fun!
