Restaurants you miss

When you said "Cafeteria version", it reminded me that even after 30 years, I miss the cafeteria version (although I think it was officially called a "Buffetteria") of the Crystal Palace. I had the most delicious Black Forest cake there.

Character meal at Liberty Tree with colonial-themed characters.
The Wave.
Another vote for Artist Point.
Cafeteria version of Le Cellier.
Garden View Tea.
I was going to say the character meal at LTT! I would even be happy if LTT went back to the menu they had before you had to get the Thanksgiving dinner there. Love the theme and location, but won't be back unless menu changes!
I also miss the breakfast and lunch at BOG when it first opened. Hate the Prix Fixe menus!

Out of curiosity what did they have on the menu then? I think there are a lot of English dishes they could feature that they don’t.
I remember many times starting out with a cheese plate (including Stilton). The entrees included a steak, burger, and a chicken and leek pie that was delicious. It was a much larger menu in general.

Yes, I remember the cafeteria version my first time in Disney. During that trip I also member Hollywood & Vine was an old-fashioned cafeteria.
