Oh goodness. Everything is just so gorgeous! I love the picture of the ivy with frost on the edges. And the sun poking through the clouds. And I'm VERY glad that the roads weren't "deadly" or "impassable" for your family! Sorry some things were closed, and that your brother's suitcase was lost! I can't wait to read more. Oh--and your fancy Macro picture is great! I just love that setting on the Elph!

We had a lovely Christmas in my flat - opening presents, eating delicious Marks & Spencer prepared foods, and opening presents.

The next day we took to the roads, which were unfortunately pretty icy! The cheerful Irish voice on the radio informed us "The road to Kilkenny: deadly. The road to Killrush: impassable." Oh great!


The Irish have such a way of putting things...

And the mountains! And the sun! It was like a postcard.

Just like a postcard!

Aww I love Ireland, I visited Dublin last April and I loved the city! I love your umbrella that's in your photo, and that rainbow is amazing!! I can't believe Aramis's luggage is still missing, I have everything crossed that it turns up soon!!

Gorgeous photos! Sorry about the run of bad luck! Airlines and luggage just don't mix, I think! I had trouble with American Airlines this year but thankfully it was on our return flight!

Emma! I'm so glad I found your TR. I always enjoy them. I'm also so happy to see your pictures of Ireland. This year (November), I will be visiting England, Ireland, and Nothern Ireland. I will be spending time in London, Dublin, and Belfast. I've been doing tons, and tons of research, and was happy to see some pictures of some of the things I plan to visit.
