December 2009

Hi Emma! I recently found your TRs and was drawn to them because I too have high standards when it comes to Disney. :thumbsup2 I finished reading the first three; I have to say your writing style reminds me of the Eloise books - which I absolutely adore! I went to DLRP too in 2008 so I'm excited to read what your thoughts are on the Paris version of WDW. I only had one day there but spent most of time just soaking in the atmosphere and for some reason, that helped make it seem like I was there much longer :) Just spent a week at the Grand Floridian during the Christmas season and I can't recommend it enough. It certainly would live up to all Disney Snob expectations! Looking forward to reading the rest of your adventures in Europe!

Hi Emma! :wave2:

I'm really enjoying your report. I'm from England so it's interesting to read about your experiences. :) I'm also partial to a bit of M&S now and then, especially the sandwiches and crisps.

Looking forward to reading more!

Ahhh, what a great ending to a cold, rainy day...reading until you fall asleep in a warm and cozy bed.

Loving your report so far - its funny you think our potato chips/crisps falvours are weird I just see them as perfectly normal and am always trying to find them in the US! Looking forward to reading more!

what exactly are welsh rarebit crumpets??

Looked like a fun day! I so want to be able to go to London one day! BUt i will be in EPocts United Kingdom in 10 days! :cool1:

Can I join in? I'm just fashionably late, you know....:snooty:

aww there's the London I know and love!! I absolutely love shopping in London, at home I live so close so we can shop there when ever we fancy, it's really amazing, I still get the 'wow' when I hit Oxford Street! Did you go in the Disney store?
Your lunch sounds amazing too, Welsh Rarebit is amazing, I love it, I've never seen it on crumpets though! I love that you went back to M&S, bannoffee pie is one of my favourite desserts, esp M&S stylee!
Oh and pretty much everywhere has a Henry, it's like the hoover (sorry vacuum) of Britain lol, esp in student places and halls of residence! It has a girlfriend... a pink one called henrietta! lol

Emma,
Lovely pictures of very lovely stores and decorations. I would like to know what welsh rarebit is too.

What a glam trek through London.

YAY!!! I was so excited to hop back on DIS and find another Disney Snob trip report- and Mia, too!
Always enjoyable!
:)

Ultra-fabulous! :goodvibes

The shops are divine, especially done up for Christmas, and the tea in the heavy siver service was just perfect!

I love your picture of all your "loot" at the end!

Your mom has a fantastic sense of humor...
