December 13 - 19 ... crowds?

Hi,

We normally take our DVC vacation the first 2 weeks in December ..but this year we had to adjust our vacation schedule and book the 3rd week. We're bringing 1st time guests along with us (A GV at OKW!).

We will be arriving Sunday, 12/13 and checking out Friday, 12/19 .. I wanted to "get out of dodge" before the Christmas crowds arrived ...

For those of you who have been there the week before Christmas ..were the crowds light, or had the holiday crowds already started?

Given that Christmas and New Years fall on Thursday this year, I hoping the crowds will be there the weeks of 12/21 and 12/28 and that the week we've picked will still have light crowds ...

When we were there at this time we found that the week before Christmas was very very quiet, but on Christmas Day and thereafter the parks were insainely crowded. They even stopped letting guests in!
