Only 28 hours till we leave!

Heres the mural at the Walt Disney Theater! My oldest DD is 18 here, this year she turns 20!

Sue Ellen - not sure if anyone responded about the water (as I have not gone through all the messages) but I will be more than happy to bring some for you. So glad you are coming aboard. My daughter, Vanessa is not on this cruise but told me you joined the group. I'll bring you some water not to worry - :banana:So much going on right now. Friday we are cooking our holiday luncheon for 200 employees and we also plan on driving over to the Cape that night. Still packing still putting together FE packages - where has the time gone. :cool1::dance3: I so need a vacation but also looking forward to planning the next one - really want to look at the Alaskan cruises. :hippie:

Blergh, it's 6 am and in about 45 minutes we'll be heading out to the airport... hopefully we can get there without any mishaps. Radio is full of accidents everywhere due to the icy roads.

We'll be at Epcot tomorrow. I'll have my green mouse ears disboards tag hanging from my camera bag. :D

My favorite book ever... "These Is My Words". I've read it several times.

I am bringing "The Lovely Bones" and "The Shack" with me. Haven't read them but I've heard good things about both.

I haven't read Lovely Bones but heard good things about it. The Shack made me bawl....took me a while to get through that one.

I am working through the Harry Potter series so I'll be bringing Year 2 and 3 with me.

Has anyone ever deposited Traveler's Checks to their onboard account? Do you know if this is acceptable?

Another question...

If I did all my online checking information and other forms, do I need to print any of those out or will they have those at Port?

We used travellers cheques to pay our account before... make sure they know you want to do this, otherwise they charge your credit card...

I am sure they have them at port but they say its quicker to print out the form, you dont have to print out the long contract part.

Either way you are covered.

Thanks for responding to both.
Would I give the traveler's checks at check in or at Guest Services after we board?

What is the update? How long till you leave?

Our flight is tomorrow morning at 7 am and we arrive at Orlando at 4 with one stop in Atlanta. Since we have to be really early at airport (5 am) we are sleeping tonight there, so we are at 6 hours to leave home and 21 hour before flight.

Friday we'll be at the Poly and will be going to the Disney Village

Conferming 3 pm Promenade.

As of now I start wishing you all a SAFE TRIP and remember, the Disney Magic Vacation begins the moment you step out of your home.

(Well it actually begins the moment you booked and started to post here since this DisBoard has been so much fun)

I adore Harry Potter and have them all on ipod also. Wonderful reading for a cruise. The Shack was so great. Changed the way I see things. I want to read lovely bones now. Sounds great.

I'm bringing a few paperbacks that I bought at garage sales. If anyone wants to have them when I'm done, you are welcome to them. I was just going to leave them onboard anyway.

I just told my DD that I am joining her on this cruise. She was going to go by herself. I'm not sure if she's happy that I'm going or not. lol

Anyway, I would like to thank everyone who was so nice, encouraging and helpful to her and for those who invited her to join your family etc etc. I hope to meet all of you. I haven't been on here since I'm been running to the hospital to see my mom who is now in rehab. Boy, I can't wait to get on the ship and order the drink of the day, usually Bahama Mama, in the big Disney souvenir glass and watch my stress just slip away and stay home.

We are flying out tomorrow morning and will be spending tomorrow afternoon at Downtown Disney. If anyone will be in the area tomorrow, would love to meet you and maybe do lunch or dinner. My cell is 215-219-5400. Call me.

Again, looking forward to meeting everyone.

Bev

We fly out tomorrow afternoon, at 5pm, arrive in Orlando at 7pm! Spending the night in Cape Canaveral and then hitting the ship by 10am on Saturday! See you all at 3pm

We leave Allentown Airport around 4:30 tomorrow (Airtran) so we won't be getting to BLT until (hopefully) around 8pm. We'll catch something quick to eat and then crash.

In the morning depending on when we get up we might try to catch a few rides at MK before heading down to Port.

**QUESTION:**
What terminal is DCL? I remember last time being confused as to which one we turn in at. A or B?

Still have packed nothing except FE gifts. Still have to-do list a mile long. Still have a birthday party to attend Fri nite (for which I still have no gift to bring). DH still irritated at my anxiety and snappishness and still insisting that it's no big deal, we just have to "throw some clothes in a bag and go." Beginning to feel the first stirrings of full-blown panic, esp since most of you have already left! :lmao:

Despite all, made time for mani and pedi today.... soooo relaxing!

Let's go have some fun! :goodvibes

All you need to do is follow the signs that say Disney. At each sign, it lists the cruise line that is at that turn--used to name the ship, now just the line. I don't remember whether it is A or B--I never remember. I just follow the "Disney" signs.

Leaving home at noon tomorrow, arrive MCO at 4 something. Get car, go to AKL. Dinner at Kona Cafe....what time was that reservation?????...port in am. I do love DVC resorts.

I'm about as packed as I can be at this moment. DD needs to do all of hers after finals and trip home this afternoon (wanna bet she hasn't done any packing in dorm either?) Just a few last minute things in the morning.....so we pray for math grades and safe trips....

Things on the list being checked off; went to store, bank, etc. Books from library $1 sale. Got e-mail confirmation from Capt. Marvin's for snorkel. Double checked that documents are in the "important stuff" carry on bag.

I'm getting scared--it looks like I might have this act together.

In am--dog to kennel, new headphones from best buy (let's get to the important things in life!), any last minute details.

Thanks!
Last time they didn't have Disney's name on the sign listings so I think that's why I am/was confused.
