Hanover I'm sorry about your injury! I'm glad to hear it's getting better and it sounds as if someone was looking out for you!

My DH told me last night that he didn't know if he was actually looking forward to the cruise more or for me to finally go and to stop talking about it! Oh-well, he knows I'm a Disney NUT!

I'm starting to believe that I'm the least crafty person on the planet! I messed up my FE really bad, but I'm going to try again! So if you see a FE that's lop-sided and looks like a preschooler made it........that's me!

I think the stitching was my downfall! I'm going to make a trip to the craft/fabric store this weekend and pick up some fabric glue..........cross your fingers LOL

It was so nice to get replies welcoming me! I can hardly wait for the cruise! We are also going to stay at Old Key West after the cruise, for a week. We have a timeshare at Disney, so glad we bought that!
Yes, CherylSue, can you send along the instructions? I think I will try the styrofoam.
Spoke to my daughters and they are going to DCL to fill in the forms that they will take to the ship. Had to call DCL to find out their reservation numbers. How exciting!
Will we be getting a complete list of all FE gifts and cabins soon?

Even those are a little confusing to me.......I'm just not a craft person. I'm not a plant person either......give me a craft or a plant and it's doomed! I guess I'm not bad at all crafts, I do cross stitch which I guess a lot of people don't do.....but my mother taught me when I was 10 and I've been doing it ever since.

I'm going to print the instructions and take them to my local Joanne Fabrics store, the ladies there are really helpful and will probably explain the whole process.

Guess what everyone!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Only 53 days till we cruise!

cheryl...I'm getting nervous I think once NOV 1st comes my stomach is going to be in knots...

Im not going to prepay mytips...I have my tip envelopes ready and will be allocating money for those folks I should tip...and then at end of cruise I will give to them...I don't know if they know how much they will get but I figure I will give the waiters theres in the morning we leave...because I'm definately going to eat breakfast..

also those of you that are staying at WDW after the cruise...are the hotels going to let you check in early? I haven't bought my MVMCP ticket yet because I don't think my boys can handle no rest till 3pm and then me rushing them to MK at 4pm...


I want to get off the ship, check in like a noon, rest till 3pm, and then go to MK by 4p...i don't think that's happening with any of the disney hotels..

My experience with the WDW hotels has been, if they have a room ready they will let you check in early. We don't care about the room so much, since we will just drop off our luggage and then hit a park until later in the day. I can see how Mommamouse would like to check in early and rest until later in the day. She will just have to take a chance that her room will be ready early. Good Luck!
We will be in cabins 7550, 7552, and 7554. We will be neighbors with Mommamouse!

Hi everyone. We're 3 first-time cruisers very excited to be on this trip. All of us are 'young at heart' but our youngest chronological age is early 50's.

We'd like to join you for the on board get-together. We're just learning about the FE --perhaps we're too late to be included ? We're scrambling with last minute preparations and would not be able to do anything very elaborate, but we'd like to bring something along for the kids in any event.

I don't think we have made any solid plans for a get together on board.....but I would LOVE to!

ChessRCat!!! So glad we have some "young at hearts," coming on this cruise. I was beginning to feel like the only 50 something here.This is our first cruise. It will be me, my hubby, and our 20 year old daugther. We are participating in the FE and there is no reason why you can't. There's still plenty of time. Most of my gifts are handmade and I'm just starting to put things together. MommaMouse has a list and is updating it all the time but she's right we do need to know who is joining the FE and that meeting spot is pretty important also. I think I'll search the boards today and see what folks are saying about a good place. Happy planning.
