shadow thank you...there's wi fi in the hospital!! so Ive been able to go online .I made a mistake on my reqeust...for the one that says Mommy and MY boys..I think it would sound better if it said Mommy & The Boys?

I'm doing ok...my son has jaundice and billi levels keeps going up so I think he might have to stay a couple more days. I get discharged tomorrow. I hope his levels start to drop..I'm a worry wart..

Looks like there are a lot of first time cruisers so don't be shy!!! You and your teen pour all over the disboards in the coming months and by the tome you sail you should both feel good about it I bet!!!! I tried for 3 years to get someone to go with me but never could so decided to go myself and when I told my DBFF I had made my deposit she decided to go too!! We are going for 8 days at AKL with a Savana view afterwards and it just can't get here fast enough for me!!! I still have to pay down my trip and Im already thinking Europe next year!!! Look at the post on graphics and fish extenders! Join in the fun! I'm already saving lots if kewl stuff and have my fish made!!! I wish I still had young ones to come but none are interested!!! Oooooooooooo AKL Savannah View!!!!!!!!!! I'm green with envy! It's funny that even though I live in Florida.....I've never stayed on Disney Property! I have visited the AKL though and it is BEAUTIFUL!!! I love AKL and the Wilderness Lodge.

I bet that is going to be a blast! The only thing we're doing before the cruise is staying at the Country Inn & Suites the night before.......we figured we wouldn't feel so rushed that morning and we can park the car there and take the VERY FIRST SHUTTLE to the port!!!! (only cause I'll be jumping out of my skin to get there!)

We are all set for out category 4, and just yesterday heard that 2 more will be traveling with us!

So we are now in a category 4 and 11... we are spending the night before the cruise at Boardwalk and then 2 nights after at AKL!

We wouldn't have been able to do it without the awesome discount I found out on Disboards on the resorts thread ( codes and rates ) we go 40% off when we booked a bounceback deal when staying at POR in Oct 2009! Then my girls decided they couldn't make it .... So instead if payi g for their trip I'm paying for a cruise lol I'm feeling very spoiled and excited as this most likely will be the best Disney vacation ever!!!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to stop by and see how everyone's plans are going. I just got our tickets for MVMCP for the night after the cruise. We went in 06 and had a blast and thought we'd try it again. Next stage of planning is to get our Autotrain reservations about mid-May, then book dining June 12th. Can't wait. It's getting closer.

Hey everyone! Our plans are going wonderful

Let's see......we applied for our passports yesterday (that was NOT fun) LOL and other than that we've been saving money! SAVE SAVE SAVE I want to make sure there's PLENTY for shopping!

Other than the cruise we are going to WDW in July for some waterpark fun for my Bday so I just booked the Wilderness Lodge and I'm waiting to see if Disney is going to offer anything special for Florida residents before I buy tickets

I can't wait it's getting closer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhh...I see we like to shop.I'm in saving mode too. Since this is our first cruise I know that I'm gonna want to shop. But it will be the same at Disney and Universal. DD and I will be shopping and DH will be doing what he likes to do....eating.Passports are not fun, especially the picture part. I had about 1/2 dozen done before I was satisfied. Hey it's bad enough my license looks like a mug shot not my PP.

Just changed our first night on property from a 2br BWV preferred view to a Tree House Villa! This trip is gonna be AWESOME!

Thinking of joining you on this cruise. It will be our first Wonder cruise, but our 6th overall (for some of us). Myself, dh, dd (16), ds (12), dd (6) and ds (6) and the little ones aren't twins.

I'll be back when we get our quote and I talk dh into going. Three of us just got back from the Med cruise and he's jealous, so the time to get it done is now. I really want to cruise the Wonder, and see the Christmas decorations.

Shadowryter- how do you do the filled in bubble letters? They're amazing. Maybe you can do a tutorial for us less- than artistic/computer savvy people.

Is anyone handling the roll call? I know we're a small group, but sometimes it's handy to have all the info in one place.

Hi Julie...to our ChristmasTime cruise. We're cat 6 also. This is our 1st cruise of any kind but my 2nd time planning. We had to cancel last December due to the ecomony but we're stronger than ever now. I started this thread but no one has taken an interest into any kind of leadership or organization. Are you volunteering?
I just starting making name fills. It takes a bit as each letter of a name in my DISigns are separate. I use Photoshop and it's a 2 to 3 step process, art background, font, layer styles and clipping. Then of course saving each letter and putting it back together as a name. It's take some time but I love the outcome so I don't mind.

Only 2 pockets since there are only 2 of us in our party! We have also been gathering goodies for stuffing fish extender pockets and also making magnets as well as some Christmas decorations! Thanks for the welcome. Photoshop- well that explains why I can't do it. We have no software like that, just a really old Disney Magic Artist studio (from when our 11 year old was like 4), and MS paint.

I can do roll call, we just need to edit the first post so everyone knows where it is.

Who is doing the FE list? Are there a lot of people for that?

Also- does everyone want to have a meet up at the start of the cruise? Like at Promenade Lounge (deck 3 aft) around 3:00?

We've never done a four night, so I'm not sure how things work with Palo and dining, but I did hear there was a dress up night and the kids love formal clothes so we'll be over dressed.

Does the thread have an official logo? I can't design at all, as you can see by the banner I came up with for our Med cruise.

Hi Janet, welcome back. You seem to be steadily moving ahead. I have all my designs and magnets just about set. Our cabin door is going to be such overkill, I know it.My DH and DD actually want to wear matching t-shirts.After the cruise we'll be staying at the Contemporary and I'm going to design special hoodies for MVMCP. Can't wait.

Last year I was part of Mickey's Merry Cruiser's and being a member of the Creative DISign boards I made many designs for t-shirts, magnets, etc. and though I had to cancel I still offered my services to the folks on the cruise. Hi Linda! I know what you mean about overkill! I've been doing a lit of fun magnets to share in the fish extenders along with doing things for our dior along with other things I've gathered!!!! I'm looking more towards kids and ladies but have done a few things I think men would enjoy as well! Will, as we get closer do a tally if ages and sexes of fellow cruises so we don't leave anyone else? I've also got a few things for toddlers and infants as well! Hi again! Sorry it has been so long since my first post, but the real world intrudes WAY too frequently around here!

I think the idea of a meet sounds good. We have never cruised before so it will be nice to have some other folks to ask questions. it will also be nice to not feel like we are all alone on the cruise!

If we do decide on a meet, I will volunteer to take a couple group photos. I normally hang out over on the Photography boards. I am not a pro by any stretch, but I do have a nice semi-pro camera and I think I can come up with some reasonably good shots.

I promise to check in a little more frequently as the cruise gets closer!
