I think obsessing over a trip makes the trip so much better...I did so for our Halloween trip and our Christmas trip last year...and everthing was perfect

The fish extender I'm going to make is going to be plain mickey mouse colors, black/yellow/red. I'm hoping it comes out nice..I have my vision lets just hope I can execute it!!

I don't have a clue yet what Im going to do! I'm going to a fabric store Fri. After I go try to start renewal of a lost/expired passport! I'm thinking I'll do Disney sea themed characters maybe... Not sure yet who/what will inspire my creative "genius" lol.... Got LOTS of ideas for magnets! I usually go all out for any Disney related thing I do. (I made headstones to put in front/side if my camper for Halloween at Fort Wilderness) so I'm looking forward to having more fun crafting! Since we will be doing AKL afterwards and even closer to Christmas that might be in some things I do as well for my Land /Sea Disney Adventure!!!

Hi all, sorry I haven't posted in a bit. I lost both my desktop and my laptop in the same week and have been strugggling to make things right. Being a DISigner here I lost all my special font's, gradients, things you use with Photoshop. Soooo....my new desktop is up and running and friends here on the boards have helped me to get things I just couldn't find. My DISigns were safe due to saving them to an external hard drive. What a mess.Not to mention my new laptop is on the way and I get to do this all over again.Well enough of that.
I'm planning on decorating our door and will probably go overboard on this. I made a virtual cabin door and already know how it will look in advance and yes I made a virtual fish extender too. I guess I'm just an extreme planner.Well hope everyone has a great Easter weekend. Take care all.

Hello and welcome back! I feel your pain with all your computer problems! I'm I'm down to my iPhone! My laptop died right after I synched it and luckily saved all my pictures!! IM a bug planner myself! I've already made a spreadsheet for all my ADR 's for my 7 days on dxddp after the cruise and have begun making my fish extender and some magnets!!! I have some ideas on magnets..but what I keep forgetting is that the cruise is during Christmas time...and now I have to think about some christmas decorations..doh!

what I really want to do is buy clothes for the trip..and its hard to do when none of the swimwear is on sale yet and I don't know what size I'm going to be..I'm waiting for Disney Store to put their swimwear on sale..and hope that they have the size that I need when it does!!!!!

then of course I want to have outfits for dinner...so I'm trying to search for nice disney shirts for my two sons..and I can't find anything nice.

and then I have to decide how many tshirts I should make for the trip...

and then I want to find disney water shoes...I know they won't have my size..but I cannot find any Mickey Mouse water shoes in Tampa or online!!!

so I'm hoping sometim in late july/august, I'm going to make a trip to Orlando and scope out the local Walmart, Souvenir Shops, and Character Outlet for some items.

The cruise is consuming half my thoughts, while the other half is consumed with having my baby next week. lol...at least the cruise is keeping me from going bananas

My biggest problem right now is trying hard not to overpack. Every vacation I always say I'm not and then I do.I'm packing light fabrics that hopefully will not wrinkle much. But after the cruise we are going to the Contemporary and then off to the Royal Pacific at Universal for a couple of days.

I was originally going to do the cruise last but wasn't sure if DH could get all his 3 weeks off at one time. Why 3 you say? We drive down the coast usually stopping 3 times before getting to Disney. This time we're stopping in Virginia, taking the Auto Train to FL, then going to ST Augustine for a couple days, then we will be spending the night before the cruise at the Country Inn & Suites at Port Canaveral. We can leave the car at the hotel and not worry about it sitting in port or paying $60 to park.

Being a Christmastime cruise I want to decorate as such. I have a bunch of Christmas DISigns I made for last Dec's cruise which I had to cancel, in my 4shared file. We we're suppose to be "Mickey's Merry Crusier's" but it didn't work out that way. Oh well looking forward to this one.

So you're due next week? I bet you can't wait. Summer clothes should go on sale before the kids go back to school. I'm kind of set from last time. Well, if I don't hear from you in the near future, I'll know why. Take care and keep on planning.

I know I will overpack...I overpack no matter where I go and how long I stay for..I don't like to just have one option a day for clothes...lol

but wow 3weeks vacatino!!!!! IF ONLY!!!!! sounds like so much fun..

I'm scheduled for csection on the 13th..but I am so huge and so uncomfortable that I feel like it could be tomorrow!! lol

I am a little sad but we are not going to be able to do the cruise in Dec. My mom has asked us to join her on a cruise in July on a different cruise line so we cancelled our trip in Dec. The good news is my mom wants us to do one with her next year on DCL. I hope you all have a wonderful time.

I am a new poster......who also just created an account at PassPorter.com and was directed to your thread!

We have booked our first ever Disney Cruise to celebrate our 10 year anniversary!!!!! We're going on this sailing of the Wonder and have been booked since July '09 in a Cat 11!!!!! I am SOOOOOOOOO excited!!!!!!

We have a 13 year old daughter who is a kind of shy, everything that we read about the teen program on the Wonder talks about dancing and hanging out........she is so shy I doubt she's going to dance LOL! Does anyone else have any experience with a shy teenager on the ship? Any tips?

ANY tips......tricks.......ANYTHING is appreciated! This is our first cruise ever!

Im a new cruiser too but not new to Disney and as you can see not new to these boards! My best suggestion is to read all you can on this thread and you might read some from the teen boards as well !!! Hi CherylSue, I just finished welcoming you on the PP thread and now I find you over here.I was going to sugguest that you join us on the DIS. No offense but the PP thread is not growing much and most over there end up ever here eventually. Alas I have no advice as far as teens go my "teen" will be no more as she will turn 20 this Sept. Yikes! My DH Dan and I will be celebrating our 21st ann on this vacation and we are looking forward to our 1st cruise. There's lot's of info on this board. Looks like there are a lot of first time cruisers so don't be shy!!! You and your teen pour all over the disboards in the coming months and by the tome you sail you should both feel good about it I bet!!!! I tried for 3 years to get someone to go with me but never could so decided to go myself and when I told my DBFF I had made my deposit she decided to go too!! We are going for 8 days at AKL with a Savana view afterwards and it just can't get here fast enough for me!!! I still have to pay down my trip and Im already thinking Europe next year!!! Look at the post on graphics and fish extenders! Join in the fun! I'm already saving lots if kewl stuff and have my fish made!!! I wish I still had young ones to come but none are interested!!!
