Strangely enough.. I love .. and I mean LOVE.. COP.
On my first trip to WDW back in 1995, I made a point of going there first. Walt's hand in that attraction is so clear and seemingly present to this day.
The '.. splashed paint all over my rump.. er rumpus room' - still makes me laugh. And honestly - it's not that funny. It's all in the delivery. And it's awesome to still hear Mel Blanc as Cousin Orville ( No Privacy 'round here at all ! ) And few people know that the voice of the grandpa in the final segment, is the man who voiced the original main character.
I was thinking the last time I was on it -- How do you update the final segment ?
The best I could come up with.. is small changes.
- Change up the wardrobe in the final scene.. (Oh the sweaters.. the horror!

)
- Change the Virtual Reality game on the 'high deaf' (spelling intentional) to playing a game online with headsets talking to other players around the world. Grandma could beat some unknown player from Slovenia or maybe Japan?
- Get rid of the talking stove bit. Change that out for something else. Maybe work with GE again and put in a "Trivection" oven.. you know with Convection / Microwave / Infrared.
- Maybe work in one of those GE Fridges with the screen in it and access to the internet from the front door of the fridge!
- A fibre optic Christmas tree? Not sure how realistic it is.. but it'd look sharp.
With these heritage attractions, I think something Walt said really rings true.
"I love the nostalgic myself. I hope we never lose some of the things of the past."

On a lighter note.. Stitch can go. I didn't believe it was possible but it was even worse than I had read on here. Certainly, being an adult, I thought Alien Encounter was better.
The shape of the seating would lend itself to some encounter with an animatronic version of a character of some kind. Like a 'show'.

Attractions I'd love to see return..
I loved the TimeKeeper attraction. I thought it was great. Robin Williams made the pre-show and certain bits of dialog so funny.
The Skyway .. love to have that back. Real shame that potential litigation and 'risk' made it go away.
Thanks,
John
