Disers, I've seen my share of attractions that were just BAD. What would you get rid of? What would you replace it with?

My choice: It's a small world. Of course I know some people will want to kill me for saying this but it's been around for ages and is, honestly, pretty daft. The animatronics are so 1980s. I'd bring back the cable cars any day to replace it. Now, if you still wish to hire a hitman to come get me (Does the Disney Mafia exist?:rotfl: ), I'll make a concession and get rid of Living with the Land.

Um, apparently you are oblivious to the fact that IASW was totally rehabbed a couple of years ago? The costumes of the various countries are amazing. If you don't like the song, fine, but it takes a few trips through just to see everything.....

The only thing I really dislike is the Stitch whatever it's called that replaced Alien Encounter. That needs to go.

AHAGHAGHAGHAG!!! NO!!!! :scared1: This is our ritual first ride every trip. I have such fond memories of myself as a child on this ride with my grandama who loved it. No, No, No, you can't mess with some of Disney's classics!!! Ok, I'm done freaking out now. I would take the Skyway ride back any time though!

Aww.. I love Its a Small World... mainly because thats where my DD said her first words. I ride it at least once each trip and bawl like a baby each time.
I hate hate hate the Stitch attraction. We rode it for the first time last year and my DD ( 7 at the time) was terrified. That is not an easy thing to do mind you. I just dont know what they were thinking with that one.

Without a doubt.....Stitch. I (and my entire family) thought it was awful.

I have to admit I am one of those nerds that LOVE the LAND!!!! Was just on it Monday.
I would bring back 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea!!!!!

What happened to the Skyway (or whatever you call it) anyway? I had completely forgotten that it existed!

Ditch Stitch (in a very very deep hole!) bring back 20,000 Leagues.

I know I am gonna get flamed but I have to agree with the OP on IASW. Both dd and I find that ride very annoying. It may be a classic -- but it is an annoying classic.

You didn't really read my post thoroughly. I said the animatronics don't impress me. (that means the way the puppets move didn't make for a more eye-catching experience) Sorry, but add the annoying song and I'll feel like jumping out of the boat! Believe it or not, I love BTMR but some people actually hate it too! I've heard roller-coaster enthusiasts bash it pretty badly. Everyone's going to have opinions. That's what my post is about.

:confused3 SERIOUSLY.......

Does ANYBODY like this attractions??? I mean, who really wants to smell a chili dog burb???

LOVE it's a small world. I am a freak for taking photos of the dolls. One year my son and I rode it 3 times in a row (he was 12) because there was nobody in line and they just sent us back through!

IASW is a family favorite. I never tire of it and am just amazed at some of the costumes on the dolls. I loved it as a child. I love it now. DD 5 and DS2 LOVE it. And the both love The Land too.

We skipped Stitch, partly because I'd heard such horrible things about it and partly because I thought it would scare my kids (DD is easily scared).

I honestly can't think of anything I'd get rid of.

The New Nemo Ride I mean come on, they could have projected Nemo into the fish tank without making us listen to "NEMO, have you seen NEMO for 10 minutes while wathing clips from the movie projected onto rocks total waste of time.

I'd nix the jungle cruise, at least in it's curent state...
My family has decided that that's where cast members get sent when they're bad, every rude CM I've met was on jungle cruise... It's taking up a lot of real estate that could be put to better use or remodeled/updated.

I'd like to see the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway rennovated to be like Disneyland's Tomorrowland Autopia.

To the OP - I agree that IASW leaves something to be desired - would I want to see it dead, no! I was traumatized by this ride during my first WDW experience... Seriously, it was almost the only ride we went on! I have about 5 rolls of film of pictures because that was all they would go on... (I was with my best friends family!)

My vote for death would be the attraction known as Sounds Dangerous! They could do something better with this space - perhaps something related to A Bug's Life (oh wait, they could rehab the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playpark to that theme!) Maybe they could do something cool in the Sounds Dangerous space related to Cars!

Death to...

-Sounds Dangerous
-Do not like any of the 360 movies
-Happy they got rid of the tarzan show
-Soarin... lol, i dont want them to get rid of it but i REALLY do not like it. They built it up way too much!

My family and I like It's a Small World. I don't agree that they should get rid of it.

The worst attraction I agree has got to be Stitch. I took my son on it for the first time last year. I thought it was disgusting when you smell the chili dog onion burp. :stitch: Very disgusting. I won't go on that again.

I agree : "Sounds Dangerous" and "Stitch" --

ONCE was more than enough!!

Sounds Dangerous gets my vote.

I'll even stuff the ballot box to get rid of this attraction...yuck. :crazy2:

Gotta keep It's a Small World, to many good memories here, my Grandma would sing that song to me and told me all about the ride way before my grandparents took us our first time, I almost felt like I new it before I rode. Now It's something I like to do with my DD. It would crush me if it was to go.

Totally agree on the Stitch ride, I love the movies, but the ride:sick: , I almost got sick when he burped and told the kids that dear ole Dad would be getting on it with them from now on, wouldn't hurt my feelings to see it go!;)
