Death to this attraction!!

Sounds Dangerous has run its course.

I don't want to get rid of the Jungle Cruise, but I'd like Disney to make a movie out of it and do a major rehab.

I'd like to get rid of the Innoventions East, only because it is such a time-sucker and trying to drag the kids out of there is a slow and painful process!

(DH is still bitter about the passing of Mr Toad's Wild Ride.)

:) Michele

Sounds dangerous and stich are both pretty bad, but if my DS had his druthers, IASW would be GONE! He HATES that ride. He closes his eyes through the entire thing. He hates all the dolls' eyes. Yes - he hates clowns, too. It was not pretty the time we were on the ride and it stopped. Imagine being stuck in a room of dolls with the "It's a Small World after all... it's a small...." playing in the background with a kid who won't open his eyes. Not good!

I agree with all that have been mentioned so far - IASW, Sounds dangerous, jungle cruise needs to be redone. But am I the only one who thinks Carousel of Progress should be loooong gone?!

I knew someone would say CoP, but Noooooo. We love that!

I would get rid of the Indy Speedway and Stitch. I also think there need to be some changes at MGM. Definately get rid of Sounds Dangerous.

I would bring back 20000 Leagues for a day, just so I could see if my memories of it are correct. I would change Indy to cars theming.

I have to agree Stitch needs to go. It was HORRIBLE!! Our DD5 was absolutely terrified and there was no way I could comfort her since I was stuck. I almost had a panic attack during the whole thing. :scared1: It needs to go...NOW!!!

Goodbye, Stitch! You are the weakest link!! :stitch:

Well, check my screen name, LOL! I have always loved IASW, but since our trip with our children for a different reason. Watching my DD's face as she watched all the "dolls" sing was just something I'll never forget. It was magical for me and her. We even rode it just the two of us right afterwards, since DH and DS were NOT getting on again!

As for what should go: STITCH!!!!!!!!!

The Skyway was cool. I have a cute pic of DH and I (before we were married) on it when we went together for the first time, so I guess for nostalgia I'd love to see that make a comeback.

Yes you are! Every Disney geek I know (all of us in our early 20s who are in the college program) LOVES this ride! It just exhudes Walt :) My whole family loves it too.

I think that Stitch's Great Mistake, errr, Escape, should be long gone.

umm let's see...it's a small world. yes i know it had the refurb- however it didn't help it...at all. also, universe of energy - no wait- i take a nap on that ride...must keep that for naps. yeah stitch is bad...i had a hard time keeping down lunch after smelling that corndog smell. also the new figment ride - what is that!??!?! bring back my old figment. ( i promise there are rides that i like! hahah!)

I havent been to WDW in at least 7 years. My last trip, I did the Alien Encounter (now Stitch) I can easily say, sight unseen (though ive heard the chilli dog horror stories:eek: ) that this needs to go. The seats are too restraining, and frightening for children, especially (AND ME)

Things I want back~ The Hunchback of Notre Dame stage show, and the Diamond Horseshoe review. We loved stopping there for an ice cream float and a few mins of relaxing:lovestruc

:confused3 SERIOUSLY.......

Does ANYBODY like this attractions??? I mean, who really wants to smell a chili dog burb???

LOVE it's a small world. I am a freak for taking photos of the dolls. One year my son and I rode it 3 times in a row (he was 12) because there was nobody in line and they just sent us back through!

jb

If they sent me through a second time I would shoot myself:scared1:

Ok I am almost embarrassed to say this but we liked Stitch. DS is a HUGE stitch fan so maybe that is why. And the chili dog thing I do not remember ... seems like I should have but I do not. I will be on the look out for it in July when we go back ... I am sure the kids will want to ride it again. :rotfl:

As a huge fan of COP, I am delighted to read that so many of you in the CP love this attraction! :goodvibes Every time I ride it, it makes me think of Walt and how he had such a hand in it's development. I hope they never get rid of COP -- it should stand as a testament to Walt's vision, imagination, and desire to make a ride entertaining as well as informative and fun. Count me as a Disney geek, too, altho' I'm not anywhere close to my early 20's! :rotfl:

My choice: It's a small world. Of course I know some people will want to kill me for saying this but it's been around for ages . . .

Um, yes I did read your post. The current version of the ride is only a couple of years old. I don't think the animatronics are meant to be amazing. It is the detail to costumes and setting in the new attraction which are great!

My dad calls me at school when I'm having a bad day and just sings, "There's a great big beautiful tomorrow...." EVERY TIME we go on this attraction, he talks about seeing it at the 1964 NY World's Fair. Every.single.time. lol.

I find that many people who do the college program are true Disney geeks, and as a result we love those classic attractions. The guy I was dating down there even had the attraction on his ipod. A couple of times while it was on shuffle we'd hear, "Hottest 4th of july we've had in years!" and crack up.

I completely agree, it reminds me of Walt and everything he stood for. Afterall, Walt loved progress ;)

The only thing I'd wish they did was update the last show segment. Ugh, totally screams out early 1990s.

Okay, I'm ure I'm in the minority on this, but there are many, many attractions that just aren't that great. The thing that makes them special is that they are so... Disney! But the rides standing alone anywhere else would be considered ho-hum. Having said that, COP has got to go, in my opinion.

We had lunch with my MIL today and she spoke about seeing CoP at the 64 worlds fair! I love this attraction, but I agree that the end should be upgraded.

Love the story about your dad and it sounds like he knows exactly how to cheer you up on a bad day!

Okay, that guy you were dating must have been cool if he had the attraction on his iPod! :cool2:

I agree that the last segment could benefit from a more current update -- maybe that will happen since they've been doing some work on the attraction this past year.

btw...I love the picture in your signature!

We love its a small world so I'd never want to see it go. My picks would be:
The country bear jamboree, this show is so outdated and old and borring-half the theater was asleep. Parents, if you want your kid to nap, take em here.
I'd also like to see stitch gone, sounds dangerous and the making of me (what was that????)

Nothing. Seriously, there's no one attraction at WDW that I hate so much that I think they should get rid of it. Every attraction is loved by someone and if I don't like an attraction, I just don't do it.
