Hi Stephanie! I'm following over from another PTR I'll be staying at AKL the same time you'll be at WDW!!! We'll also be going to MVMCP on the 16th, DHS on the 17th, and Epcot on the 18th!! I'm also from PA as well and worked at a Daycare for 2 years! Are you from the East or West PA??? I'm sorry to see snow so early! I moved to Orlando in June and I'm so glad to be out of snow! It was 80 and sunny in Orlando today!!!

I saw your post about HDDR. If you are going from MK to it, I would suggest taking the boat and allow 45-1hr but if you are traveling from your resort you need to allow at least an hour and 1/2. For some reason it takes forever to get there!!!

We're from East PA. I love this snow! All snow, any snow! And WOW we'll be in the same places alot during our trips! And the lady I talked to yesterday on the phone said its easiest to get to HDDR from MK so I think thats what we'll be doing!

Hey- is the travel time to the airport 2 hours or is that with extra time? You may want to throw in an additional 15 or 30 minutes and leave at 2:30 am... It may mean that you have 1-1/2 at airport, but you may appreciate that instead of less time at the airport.

That being said, your airport is smaller, so it may be unnecessary...

The last time we went to the airport; we hit traffic due to construction...I swear I lose time off my life sitting in traffic hoping to catch our flight. We were there with plenty of time fortunatley.

The time before that include a major snowstorm (and we actually moved our flight to an earlier one the night before...), and we had to run to catch our flight...then sit on the plane for two hours....

ugh! Knowing me we'll end up leaving super obnoxiously early and get there with 2+ hours to kill! But fortunately for me Pat just goes with whatever I decide to do. I dont know who benefits from that fact more! But I think I'll change the time we leave from 3 to 2:30. I am HOPING it is not snowing on the 15th! The last thing I want before my trip is to be in a state of extreme panic!

Hello again! I just cant seem to get off of the DIS lately. The closer my trip gets the more I just want to sit on here and look at everything possible! Today I am going to sit down and work out some of my Mini-Planner pages and I just wanted to share my little slice of Disney of the day!

Well this was about a half hour from where I live and from the area I was in I'd say they probably do have an issue with egging.

Yeah, I thought it was crazy they have to do that. Like I said I dont live in that area, but my car did get egged one time when it was parked at dbf's moms house overnight! But its not common around here at all....just my dumb luck right?!

To answer the Magicial Express question...I called Disney tonight to add ME for our arrival. The CM told me that there is a glitch in the system and not to worry about it if our voucher says midnight or noon. She said the vouchers have to do with the flight number not the times.

I dont know anyone who can honestly say they dont love Donald! Most of my favorite Disney movies/shorts are starring Donald!

Happy Halloween!
Today we had a Halloween party at work for all the kiddos! I dressed up as a witch with cool orange and black striped tights! AND all the kids thought I could fly! Then after work I went over to my friends to go trick-or-treating with them and their families. (they have little kids. Dont think I was trick-or-treating!) So I had a great day! Hope everyone else did as well!

Anyway, I just got home not too long ago and found I had....MICKEY MAIL! Just the maps I ordered...thought I'd share quick....

Then there is also one for each individual park. I love them! They are awesome quality for being free. And they also come with stickers to mark stuff that might interested you and a special little sticker to mark where your resort is.

That is my update for the day. They are free, good quality maps that got shipped really fast too.

Yay for first day plans and snow! My parents are still without power (and they made fun of me for moving out to Colorado from PA! Our weather sure showed them, since our version of the storm just brought down trees branches and no widespread power outages. )

You're lucky to go to Magic Kingdom the first day (15th, right?). Universal will be fun, but not the same. At least the 16th is our MVMCP/Magic Kingdom Day!

Everyone one around us lost power...literally everyone. So we're are very happy it didnt happen to us!

The 15th AND the 16th we're planning on doing MK! We're going to MVMCP on the 16th TOOO! I would love to go to Universal. (Harry Potter lover right here!)

We are going to MK on our arrival day (12-15) as well!! Our plane arrives at MCO at 9:30am ........check into resort, shower (hopefully we get our room, if not skip shower lol) and off to MK!!
