Thank you! We are going to the party the second to last night! The 16th! I am so excited! I told DBF he had to drink and eat free cookies and cocoa all night to make up all the money I spent on the tickets! And he said he's alright with that!

I'm so in love with this weather! (and the fact that dbf is stuck here! hahahah) I'm just hoping we dont loose power! So much for Halloween though...I doubt anyone will want to go trick-or-treating.

Day One Plans!​

Well since I recently booked our flights I called Disney today to straighten out our ME info! I chatted with the nice lady and it was really quick and simple. Just give her some numbers and that was it.

So then she asked if I would like to be transferred to the Dining line for anything so I said SURE! Because I had some questions about how I should be timing my travel time for HDDR. I honestly think the dining lady thought I was insane for just asking her about that but hey, I like to make sure I know everything!

After I finished the survey after getting all the info I needed I logged onto my Disney account to check if I could see my ME info already. Sure enough I could and it says pick up time for our arrival day is 12:00am and also 12:00am for our departure day. So I start freaking out (not exaggerating) about how this does not match my flight times. DBF and my father think that those times will eventually change to be the correct times. Can anyone confirm that for me? End my obsessive panic maybe? Also when exactly should I be receiving my ME packet in the mail? (obsessive)

So after googling upon googling info about ME, I decide to now officially create our day one plans! So prepare for the greatness that is my PLANS!

Day One: Arrival Day!

1. Wake up at 2:00am
2. Leave for airport at 3:00am
3. 2 hour travel time (ETA 5:00am)
4. Arrive at airport with an hour to do all needed things
5. Enjoy flight (hopefully)
6. Arrive in Orlando
7. Find Magical Express
8. Check in to Hotel
9. Go to MAGIC KINGDOM!!
10. Use QS cred for lunch if hungry
11. Spend rest of the day in MK
12. Go to HDDR (which is for 8:30pm)
13. Make way back to resort!

Now as I was typing that my mind was thinking of a million things I could add...so I need a short intermission to take notes on my paper here....

Okay, so we are going to be getting up VERY early! And I hope an hour is enough time to do everything we need to do at the airport. I like to have a lot of "cushion" as Pat and I refer to it because we do not like to feel extremely rushed.

Once we arrive at DISNEY WORLD! I plan to check in even though it says check in time is 3:00 on my online thing. After that we are planning to go to Magic Kingdom for the rest of the afternoon until our HDDR ADR because that is what the lady on the phone recommended. She also suggested allowing 45min - 1hour of travel time to arrive at our ADR a half hour early. (8:00) I can handle that. I love when people give me solid directions. Makes me feel better.

I basically want to do EVERYTHING at MK, but we'll see what we get done. For our QS meal if we use it I'd like to try Casey's Corner!

Hope everyone is having an awesome Saturday! I've been enjoying wonderful "Charlie Brown snow" as we've been calling it! (you know...that gorg snow in the Charlie Brown Christmas movie) Love this weather!

I cannot fully answer your ME questions as I have never actually booked ME, but I have ridden on it dozens of times and this is how I think it works...

It doesn't actually matter WHEN you arrive, as long as you have your magical booklet (which I DO know you'll get about 30 days before your trip), you can always get on a bus. If you're planning to have ME take care of your bags for you, just make sure you have the special yellow tag on your bag when you check it. Other than that, when you show up you'll show them your special booklet, they'll show to the correct line, and you'll be good to go!

For your return trip, you can just ask at the front desk for the specific ME pick up times for your departure day and be sure to be there on time! If you're once more having your bags magically taken care of, just be sure that they're at your hotel's baggage services before 1 PM. If you miss that time though, you can always take your bags with you on the bus and check them at the airport as usual.

No worries, Disney won't strand you... not at the airport or at your resort! : Hope that helps!
