Keith only got shoved when he jumped in Jonathans face like a bully. It was good to see him knocked on him butt. When he rushed in like he did, it was a threat...that got handled. As far as time and place? Where else would you have liked to see it? yOU HAVE TO ADMIT, IT WAS COMPELLING tv (WINK WINK)

Isn't that funny- the way I saw it Johnathan was totally the bully. Andy was already there- being totally civil. Johnathan has no class- and yes, it makes great t.v.

We love DC in our house. It's the show DH and I watch together (and there aren't many!).

Does anyone know what ever happened to Jake (NW) dad? He was missing back in Jan. I was wondering if they ever found him.

I was a mess during the last 5 minutes.......as a nurse I could see how bad that stroke was...his left foot had no reflexes, which is a natural response. I was surprised that he was still awake....I don't recall any of that being reported.


Does anyone have any report on Jakes (NW) dad? I have looked and not seen anything. Last bit of infor I find says they found his truck.

I had tears coming down at the end of tonight. I have to thank my dog for cheering me up. As the ambulance left the pier with the sirens going my dog was compelled to answer it with his usual AROOOOO. Always gives me the giggles. I will miss Captain Phil.

I"m still sitting here crying my eyes out. The whole looking at picture thing was eary, and I really lost it when my mom said the same thing happened before her dad died. (he was a firefighter, and died after fighting a fire).

Very sad episode. I agree, the looking at picture thing was sad. Hopefully the boys took comfort in those moments. It seemed like Josh took charge after it happened. Everyone seemed to stay calm, even though they were in shock from what had happened.

Did anyone watch After the Catch? It seems like Edgar is still really unhappy about being on the ship. I wonder if he'll even be back next season. He seems to really miss his family and wants to be a part of his kids lives. What a good dad.

On After the Catch, Jake still said his dad was missing. I believe the show was taped a couple of weeks ago. Northwestern Jake really appears to have a desire to learn it all about fishing. It was nice to see him on the show, as well as Cornelia Marie Jake.

It was a painful episode to watch esp where we all knew it was coming. And the 2 Jake's ... ugh JA missing his dad and now JH losing his dad ...

I mean this whole epi was sad, Keith struggling with his "chew" addiction ... omg, his daughter, was she not the cutest and sweetest EVER worrying about her dad and telling him she will help him through this addiction.

Johnathan and Andy Hillstrand wanting to move on from crabbing/fishing yet Scotty is just not ready to take over. Scotty stating his wife left him and he is fighting for custody of his son.

So sad! I felt so bad for his son trying to decide whether or not to go out or to go be with his dad. He knew what Phil would want him to to do but I was glad to see him go be with his dad and brother.
It was obvious how much Phil was respected by the other captains by the way they reacted to the news. It was definitely raw and real!
