De-Link a Credit Card From Magic Band?

I think the title says it all. I just got back from a week staying on property, so for convenience I linked a card to my account (and thus to my Magic Band). No problem there, I could charge all my meals to the MB. Very nice.

But I’m gone now. Is my credit card still linked? Can I delete it? I ask because I left that MB in my Florida condo while I’m gone for a few months and maintenance folks have access to my unit when I’m gone.

I don’t find the Disney app to be the simplest app I’ve ever seen. Some unimportant things are very easy, while some more important things take some searching.

I still don’t know how to delete some friends I added 5 years ago and haven’t talked to since. I always get a message that they are still active so I can’t delete them from my MDE account.

But I’m more concerned with unassociating my credit card from my Magic Band.

You can de-activate the magic band here and reactive later if you'd like (has to be on the Disney website, the app doesn't work)

No credit card info is on the magic band, it just links to your profile on MDE. Also that credit card would be tied to your active hotel reservation only, you can't charge things unless staying on site.

You can manage your friends/family list here, just hit update and that will allow you to remove people.

The CC associated with your MDE profile is NOT linked to your MagicBands. They only way to purchase with a MagicBand is to be staying at a Disney owned & operated resort and have a CC on file with the RESORT.

In addition to above, a PIN is required to be used when making purchases using a MB.
