DDP Questions

Hi, I was just looking at our reservations and it lists 2014 Table Service-Adult and 2014 Table Service-Child. Our children will be 13 and 11 at the time of travel and they do not eat kids meals anymore. My travel agent assured me that everything is good for the dining plan and that she doesn't know why Disney lists the dining plan as child when they are older than 9. I've been told it's just the way it is booked. Also, the children's ages are both listed in the reservation. So, my question...has anybody experienced this and will we be ok when we get there as far as meals go? I don't want to be told we have to pay more money or what not because the kids were put on a child's dining plan vs. an adult dining plan. I know there is a price difference and I am so worried that we will run into extra cost that we aren't planning for.

I would definitely call the reservation line to make sure. My 14 yo son came up as a junior on ours.

It's just the weird way it's presented online/email. As long as the ages of your kids are correct they will receive the adult dining plan credits.

Mine said the same thing, but when I went into my MDE I was able to find that my teens do actually have the adult plan. I believe it just says child as they are still listed as children in the resort reservations (and will be until they turn 18). Of course I can't find the place on MDE that I found this information.

Two years ago I did the dining plan when my son had just turned 10 (oops). I was charged the adult price for him, but he was listed as a child on the registration. However, he still got to choose from the adult menu, although we shared a lot of meals together to bank our QS dinners to certain days.
