DDP and Holiday Surcharges

Since I'm on the DDP, how does the holiday surcharge in March (increased prices around Easter) affect me? Is the only impact that I have to pay higher tips since the tip is calculated off the increased price?

That is the way I understand it. That is an added advantage of the DDP during times of the year (I won't say holidays) that Disney adds surcharges to the buffets.

Buffets and family style meals to like LLT and garden grill, ect.

What are the March dates again? I am going the first week and some of these will be OOP for me.

I think it's the sunday before easter till easter... but i'm not 100% sure i do know that it starts 16th but i'm not sure if it keeps going after easter as well.

Allearsnet.com is stating the higher prices are in effect from March 16-30 (Easter is the 23rd).

I was thinking about dropping the DDP, but since we'll be at 4-5 character buffets, I will now keep it.

The holiday surcharge is one reason we're going to do the ddp this year......I thought we would come out about the same paying cash, but with the extra buffet charges, the ddp is better.
