Got my own little ray of 2015 crapola yesterday. Due to an accounting error, I now owe the IRS $12,500. Money put away for a car is now gone.

That's a big accounting error. Yours? Or, time for a new accountant?

That's good. I was thinking you were old enough to retire. I'm still hoping for 8 more years, but it may be closer to 12.

It is aboard the Fantasy. That's the only ship in the fleet that I've not yet been aboard. It's also an eastern itinerary which we've not done yet so there's a double win. Y'all are also correct that Steve happens to be headed out of the same sailing, so meeting him and his family is something else I'm looking forward to. Should be quite the adventure.

Yeah, I really want to do a cruise. It's on the list.

Hi Guys! So Wednesday morning I get called into a meeting with the President and VP of HR for the new company who own us. Yup, they were sorry to tell me that my job has been eliminated. Saw it coming, company doesn't need two purchasing dept. Not sure what road I'm going to take on this next adventure of mine, but I do know what I'm going to do next. My last day is March 31st, I'll leave work no later that 2:30 to get on a flight at 4:00 to Disney!

Ah crap, that sucks, Hope something good comes as a result of this (other then the trip). It's starting to feel like someone's has got it in for the Disdads..

Just got a text from Shawn, he is out of surgery and is waiting for the results. Praying he hears nothing but good news.

We've been generally planning this for some time but it wasn't until I got through the medical stuff and finished paying the thing off before I could honestly say that it wouldn't be getting canceled.

Good morning, and Happy Saturday. I am in the middle of all kinds of fun stuff in the real world, so I'm ducking in here to say hey- and ask for a few opinions.
First - is a Garden Wing stay at the Contemporary still staying at the Contemporary, or does it only "count" if you are in the A- frame?

Next: I've eaten at the Hollywood Brown Derby and Be Our Guest. How does the food / atmosphere of those restaurants compare to California Grill, as far as an Anniversary Dinner for DW and me? (15 yrs, - looking to get some input for our 2016 trip)

What? I like to plan Disney World trips. - you guys understand.

Finally, my new Avatar. The photo is from 2007- is it too old to keep using? I still own and wear the clothes and glasses from both photos.

I don't know who is counting, but yes, the Garden Wing counts as staying at the CR. Being that close to MK is the best - walk to MK, monorail to other resorts, monorail to Epcot. I haven't been back to Cali Grill since the refurb, but I would still pick there over HBD and definitely over BoG. The food at Cali Grill and HBD were both great. I think the location atop the CR is better, especially if you can time Wishes or the sunset. Cali Grill used to be louder than HBD, and I don't know if the refurb has done anything with that.
