Gonn'a be a fairly busy work day but I'll try to check in from time to time.

Good afternoon from central Indiana.

It's been quite a while since I last posted in here. Thought I would join the fun, at least once, for this particular thread!

Good to hear from one of the club vets.
We miss seeing you 'round here but the new career is suiting you well sir.
You've worked mightily hard on building that business and I've seen where you even been recognized by the pier groups for that work. your are to be admired sir.

Congrats on all those accomplishments and on the ones that are still in the making.

Mornin' Andy.....Just dealing with getting my kids where they need to be.....School was delayed this morning but we were never notified. Their notification system must've not wanted to work because of the cold this morning. No phone call, text, or email.

Turns out they closed anyway - only found that out thanks to Facebook.

Mornin' Andy.....Just dealing with getting my kids where they need to be.....School was delayed this morning but we were never notified. Their notification system must've not wanted to work because of the cold this morning. No phone call, text, or email.

Turns out they closed anyway - only found that out thanks to Facebook.

No delays or cancellations here today, the latest storm missed us. We had just enough snow overnight to make the driving terrible.

Too Cold here to make snowmen! -2 as I type this. We got another 4 inches over night and the roads are like a skating rink.

Their notification system is down for some reason....no alerts to anyone this morning....a lot of angry parents. I can't be angry about something that is out of their control.

Man, it's warmer here today, about 20 F, warmest it's been in a couple of weeks.

The only notification system we have here is the radio and the web. Individual schools may send out a bulk email but it isn't that common.

We had just a dusting here. We really are missing all the snow this year. This is only the second time we've had a ground covering snow, but still never even been enough to do any sledding or have any fun with it.

Wow! I never really considered what it would look like to see a train plow through deep snow. That's amazing! Must be a little freaky being a conductor not being able to see the intersection... or anything at all!

The post where he said he was leaving and the comments that followed. I had a notification this morning that there was a new post or a like or something, but it has all vanished from my notifications page and I don't see that post anywhere now.

We've got about 20 inches on the ground right now....not as bad as you Boston Dads....but enough! Rumor is we're supposed to either get more snow on Sunday or rain depending on what the storm track is. I would hate to see what rain would do with all the snow in gutters around here.

Welcome back! Old timers coming out of the woodwork around here this week.

I may not be an 'old timer' like those low-numbered members, but I made it back for posting three days in a row! I am liking this new interface.

Rumor is we're supposed to either get more snow on Sunday or rain depending on what the storm track is.

I wish we would get some snow here. My Sunday is supposed to be sunny with a high in the mid-70's. Ugh. That is not winter to me. Give snow!
