DIS Dads DDC XXXIV: The Original Home Of The DISDads!!!

Dads of the DIS talk about life, bacon, Disney, bacon, kids, bacon, cars, bacon, family life, and lots of other fun stuff! And beer. And bacon.
Morning folks. Planning on taking it easy today. Once I get my morning kinks worked out, will go for a 5K run, then watch yesterday's Indy race before heading out to work. I anticipate it being quite slow at work, and will watch today's Indy race (or some of it) on my breaks.

Afternoon, Gents! Hope all are having a good weekend. Everyone here in the Tenor household are well, so that's all I've got. Have a good rest of your day.

Happy Friday! I feel like this has been the longest week ever and yet I've gotten nothing accomplished.

I've had weeks like that, and hate them.

Familiar with the breed. Luckily, mine is pretty much right on time.

My doctor's pretty much on time as well, and I'm thankful for that.

Whoo! Hoo! Made it thru the week. Time for a beer before I go home to work.

Had my final test for my project management certification today. 6 months of study but I passed. This is supposed to be the hardest class to get my BOMI certs that go on my business cards and are supposed to get me an extra $2-$3K per year more at work. We will see. Boss wants me to start the next class on Monday o_O

Congratulations!

All the places I go to use the call or text reminder. I don't mind it. I usually just put the appointment in my phone calender when it's made, so it isn't much of a surprise.

So do I, and I have no problem doing it, just think it's funny since there are people in each office who's job it is to do that. I guess they're trying to streamline it....and that's fine. Just wish they'd give me a phone with a headset. Oh well....maybe I'll buy my own.

Morning, Gents! Another work week is upon us, so I guess that means we have to put on our big boy pants and go and be adults. I have to be an adult and go to Pulmonology today. A small office with one doctor and nurse, but an office that's very busy. My day won't be boring, that's for sure. hehehe Well, gents, have a good day.

Morning guys, from another low 80s scorcher in the mother country. Big boy pants free here, I have some Disney shorts on, as I am still working from home in the garden. I feel much more alive as I did yesterday, as we did a bit of a "supersize me" rule over the drinking weekend which were:
You were never allowed to refuse a drink if the server came up an offered
If there was a "2 for 1" cocktail offer you had to take it, no sharing.

Now as most of the UK is desperate to get everyone back in bars, and make money again, this plan may have had some flaws in it. Especially as I was on my 6th Bloody Mary at 11AM on Saturday, after getting back to the hotel at 2am on Friday. Maybe I should just view it as training for DDCC.

I have one more meeting today, and then

Don't worry, you can still stay with me if Scotland beat England.

I think.

;)

Have a great day chaps, may your day be a timbits variety box of potential.

While my heart may be with Scotland, my head is with England.
I think Denmark is now an awful lot of people's "second team" after Saturday.
Good luck today, they need to win, the very last thing you want to be doing against our midfield and top is chasing the game, and pushing forward. Its all about not losing.
Interestingly, Stevie Clark worked at West Ham for a good few years, he is a brilliant coach. We liked him and he came from Chelsea, and that takes a lot for us to get over.

Damn you Patrik Schick !!

Afternoon Dads! In the office today ramping up to get back into more of an office return. I've been one of the few office folks coming in part time through all of this due to warehouse and logistics responsibilities but more and more are coming back in so it's not as nice.
Cubs swept Cardinals, family is doing well, pregnant DD and baby are all good, DS starts his internship Wednesday to complete his college program, we are 19 days from DaWorld and I booked next May (11 mo window) back to 3 trips on the docket, plans made for a Cubs weekend over Labor Day and feeling pretty good about life right now. Don't get me wrong, work is as big a mess as I have seen in the 21 years I have been here and we went through some rough patches. But ya know what, all the other stuff is what's important, counting the years until I reach Randall status :rotfl2: Have a great week chaps!

Good to hear you Cliff. I was so worried about your absence that I drank all the rum.
Ahh well that explains it. .... But did you really need an excuse?

But I dont wanna.

That sounds like it could get ugly quick.

Happy Monday from a glorious day at work.

Glad you're feeling better now.

Holy cow! That's in 3 days!!

::yes:: It's moving fast.

Up here on the pulmonology floor, there are many patient who are obese or current/ former smokers. Yet, we still treat them. It is sad.

Nah, I would have drank it anyway.
