Morning
Went to dinner last night and had a couple of rum drinks. When our server pick up the check, she wished us a good night. I wished her a Happy Hump Day and good luck with that.,. She wished me the same...

Morning, gents.

To my surprise I walked in and found another floating receptionist, a rather cute receptionist with, well....she was, uhhhhmmmm, talented, if you catch my drift. 😉
Oh, yeah. Can type over 100 words/minute, right!
I made it through the day, it was difficult, but I made it through the day.
Photos or it didn’t happen.
In the office today. Very strange. There are about 25 of us in. UK Hub is 4 floors but in a High rise, so its not a huge office, but it feels very desolate.
So... 25 isn't a lot compared to pandemic restrictions but is actually pretty empty?
I just need Canada to get a shift on with vaccines
Yes.
Yes we do.

On the home front, DW decided that she wants a new house, so that will be our future. We have a great market for selling, but bad for buying. She found a builder in a new, smaller subdivision a few miles out in the county near a county park. It's close to a fine deal. Looks like I'll be working a few more years afterall.
Good luck with the planning process. Gonna downsize a bit now that the girls are mostly grown up?
Howdy, doodies....

Booked my flights for DDCC, as I think prices are gonna skyrocket if everyone agrees corridors. I just need Canada to get a shift on with vaccines so I can get there for skiing in Dec. So I'm in Mikey territory with 3 trips on the books.

Now at wheels down and the final approach for the end of the week. It's a 3 day weekend over here, so the Bourbon cabinet may take a bit of a hammering.
Fingers crossed for you on the Snow trip and more importantly DDCC10 trip! Enjoy your bourbon weekend

And with that...............
Bacon, Bourbon, Cigars and Mickey Bars!

It's another rainout day for HS tennis, so I'll do indoor tennis tonight myself for a change.

Hey, Gents! So early this week I was giving a new schedule for yesterday. Initially I was supposed to be back at the office working in the fax dept., where I started my career in the medical field, helping them get caught up. Well, I go re-routed to a primary care office who needed my services as a receptionist. To my surprise I walked in and found another floating receptionist, a rather cute receptionist with, well....she was, uhhhhmmmm, talented, if you catch my drift. 😉 Well, after emailing our scheduler, I was told that my services were needed at that location and that I was to remain. "No problem," I wrote back, and stayed. Happily. (heavy sigh) I made it through the day, it was difficult, but I made it through the day.

:thumbsup2

So I'm not the only one who fishes for over-the-top praise and compliments. Whew! Good to know.

I thought it was. Even my DW thinks this is the best job for me.

So a new house farther out in the country. That's awesome. Now you have to put that plan into action.

That's awesome, congrats for making it to that point. I'm starting to get to the point where I'm a lot more comfortable in my job. I'm not asking as many questions, and that's making me confident. Now if only I can get them to hire me on as a full-time employee.

Glad you had some nice scenery at work. Hope you get the full time gig.

She was really good at her job? Efficient telephone manner? Can do shorthand?
Well done for noticing mate, I was looking at her funbags.

This response is so good, I thought Mark Twain had joined the group.

(You're welcome)

I was talking about this with an insurance broker over the weekend funny enough, we were both saying the US housing market has a little bit of 2008 whiff about it. Not to that extreme, but not a million miles off.

Have a phenomenal day boys, may your day be the equivalent of an extra serving of bread pudding at Ohana.

Ideally, we could sell our house at the high point, and in a few months, pay after a crash at the low point. Hopefully, that won't be the other way around.

Good luck with the planning process. Gonna downsize a bit now that the girls are mostly grown up?

Downsize? Not this family. Not only are we adding an office, but more square footage to every room. And, it's all custom cabinets, bathtub, walk-in shower, etc. This is what DW wants so that is the route we are going.

Morning guys from a sunny but chilly London.

Fry Up for breakfast today, as I may have slightly over indulged in (well outside) the pub last night. It was a pretty cool pub, right alongside HMS Belfast on the River Thames.
Just watching the NFL draft, pretty happy with the Bears pick.
Denmark and Europe are off today, so it will be a very light day today as we wind down into a 3 day weekend.

I'd sling a pool in there as well mate, in for a penny, in for a pound.
Good luck in the search.

Have a good one all

Morning, Gents! Yesterday was so busy that it was a blurr. I was at a pulmonary specialists office with only one doctor, but it was a busy day. Between the patients that came in, and the phones that wouldn't stop ringing, my day just flew by, which I love, but it was a busy day.

After not being in the office for a year I'm sure it sounded strange, but the drinks after work help with that strange feeling. Right?!

Bet it feels good to have those 3 trips on the books. I still need to get 1 on the books...but I'm working on it.

Enjoy your long weekend.

Amazing worker. Efficient and professional on the telephone and with the patients. She's and amazing worker. :thumbsup2 And, well, while I didn't stare, I did reposition the computer so I had a better view peripherally. :teeth:

(takes bow) Thank you.

An amazing typist. :thumbsup2:teeth:

I wish, but that would have been extremely creepy. It would have also gotten me fired.

Good thing you didn't say it was hard. :lmao:

It was difficult to not type that.

It certainly was pleasant scenery.

A bigger house? Nice.

From a selfish point of view, I would welcome a 20-30% correction in the florida housing market. Waiting to strike.

Good luck! I'm not going anywhere for a while, so I have no skin in the game.

Sounds like a lovely evening. I think Fields could be a good one. It would be really strange to see a good QB in Chicago. You ok with them keeping Pace and Nagy if that's the case?

At work, it's always better to be busy than bored.

Will settle for an incredibly detailed and accurate hand-drawn portrait done from mammary.

Memory.

I think Pace is a lightning rod for the McAskeys being just behind Scrooge McDuck in their benevolence, and we have probably punched above our weight for a couple of seasons. I think the trade was a good one for us, but we have a history of taking good QBs and turning them into just OK ones. We need some OL in the next rounds or in FA, as even Mahomes could do diddly squat with less than 2 seconds before the edge rush comes for you.
Nagy needs to swallow his pride and stop play calling, and let the OCs get on with it. He forced Mitch into a system that didn't really suit, looking at Fields he looks to throw and is great at being mobile in the pocket, and making something out of read 2 or 3, something that Mitch was awful at. If Fields and A Rob/Monty tie up, and Kmet and Mooney keep progressing, that's not a bad offense, if we get the time to let the play progress.

Yeah, it seems like there are quite a few teams taking the receiver/sexy pick instead of building up the OL. Definitely a risky strategy. With the Bears, though, I like the move. You either have a QB or you don't, and they didn't have one. Unless they want to try for Aaron Rodgers...

As Captain Oblivious is clearly "Man of the week"

Well, that won't last.
