Just under an hour left in work now. Then three days off. Looking forward to not working for a bit.
Funny how quickly you look forward to days off even after having a vacation.

Hey, Gents! Hope all is well. My DMiL took a nasty fall down some stairs last night and wound up at the hospital. I got the call around 5am and went to pick her up. No broken bones, thankfully, but a bad ankle sprain. I'd appreciate some good vibes in her direction if you could spare some. Work wise, yesterday was better than the day before. I had more to work on but still didn't get as much done because there was just too much I couldn't do. I haven't heard about scheduling an interview for the other temp position yet, but hoping to hear soon. Otherwise things are going well.

So, KY weather went from 4 degrees to 64 degrees in less than a week. I guess that's what makes the bourbon taste so good.

I guess spring has sprung in your area.

You think all these smart people at the hospital would have smartened up already. Who would let a cancelled nut work directly with patients?

Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't.

Hope you can get the interview and the next job. I continue to be amazed at the amount of information EPIC. Then, there are also the limitations. Or perhaps, there aren't limitations, but no one has enough time to learn or get EPIC to do what they want.

I'm hoping, and with the backing of those that like me I feel comfortable getting it. The problem, as I see it, and will always see it until I'm selected, is whether or not I can get the job. I love being able to play around in EPIC, and like you, and amazed at how much information is in there and all that it can do.

And I'm only covering 15 patients, which supposedly is 1/2 the floor, and 1/2 the normal amount. I'm doing the work, and they are reminding me if I miss something. My boss said that those training me have said I've picked it up quickly. She also said that they told her I ask a bunch of questions, which is good, and they can see I'm trying to learn it. However, when things have to move quickly, sometimes they don't let me figure it out and just tell me what to do. Still, I don't know how I can double my pace.

That's awesome that things seems to be going well for you. And over time you'll get quicker.

I wasn't surprised about Julien, a bit about Mueller. Julien would have been gone last season if it wasn't for the play in the Bubble and his little heart attack in the playoffs. I think there is one more guy that needs to go and that's Bergevin. He should have been fired a few years ago.

Pickleball tonight. Got asked to play in a local tennis tournament this weekend. Thankfully, it's only doubles, but it could be a 5 match weekend. I'm too old for this $h1t.

Morning All, bit chilly here today but that's only temporary. Warming up tomorrow.

After 3 mornings this week of having to boost my vehicle to get it started I decided to stop on the way to the office and get the battery checked. I'm pretty sure you can guess the results of that check.

Oh well, it's only money.

Found out last night that DW ordered my a New Brunswick Craft Beer box, 24 random craft beer and I can pick it up today. HUGE weekend coming

Still waiting on my last RSP forms before having our done. I went a number of years with needing to pay but for the last few years we each are getting some nice refunds. There are some benefits to child care tax credits and now tuition tax credits.
