Yeah, I'm pretty bummed out. We've been looking forward to this one for about 6 months.Oh man. That’s terrible news!

Similar to here. Staff in care and nursing homes are allowed to work even if they have been out of the country (with the exception of 9 countries) but DW can't go teach for 14 days. Crazy times!
Nope. The flame has the virus now too.
Here in Sacramento County, our county Department of Public Health went from a containment approach with 14-day quarantines to "F-it" since quarantines aren't stopping the spread. Now the deal is to do your every day normal activities until you're sick, then you stay home. And if you're effectively treating your conditions with over-the-counter medicines, then continue to stay at home, even if it is the coronavirus.
About half the people here are cool with it because the odds of serious injury from the virus are exceptionally low for most people. The other half are completely losing their minds.
Dogs and cats living together! Mass hysteria!
Who's driving this car, Stevie Wonder?
Don't lick the flame!
And....Disneyland Cali is shut until the start of April.
I think that could be it for the vacation.
Yeah, quarantines could stop the spread if everyone quarantined. But, we gotta go to wal-mart to get toilet paper.
That bites! Sorry for you and the family.
Government just added some new recommendations here a couple of hours ago. They suggest no non-essential gathering of over 150 people. The cause a number of people, including myself, to be asked to leave the CCAA (think NCAA Div 2) men's volleyball nationals just before the local host team was suppose take the floor. There were lots of parents that traveled from the western side of the country to watch their teams play that are not happy.
Last time I was in Walmart (1) they had a robot going up and down the aisles; it was like the classic Lost In Space robot, but without any arms; and (2) I picked up this dope Golden Girls t-shirt in the Men's Department for $7.88!
Start planning the next one. Preferably post-covid19.Yeah, I'm pretty bummed out. We've been looking forward to this one for about 6 months.
But, don't worry, my University expects me to report to work on Monday even though classes are cancelled. And State Universities are called higher education.
Don't breathe on me when you say that. This stuff is really contagious.![]()
Lots and lots and lots of TP.Yeah, quarantines could stop the spread if everyone quarantined. But, we gotta go to wal-mart to get toilet paper.
Totally worth it!I picked up this dope Golden Girls t-shirt in the Men's Department for $7.88!

And the question is whether or not to go to Church on Sunday. For us Catholics, that's not really an option. The Bishops in our Archdiocese did lift the obligation to attend Mass for the elderly and those immunocompromised to attend Mass. If one is sick, then they already can and should stay home.
Lots and lots and lots of TP.
Because as everyone knows, this virus makes you sh!t like an elephant with diarrhea.
Have to wait until Disney officially announce they won't be open until I can get my points back. Trouble is, some of them were banked, so I'm hoping they will out them into next Use year. Otherwise I might have some points for rent budgie numbers.
I might start binge watching the Eagles "All or nothing"
Cheers mate. Lets hope so.Man. That sucks! I'm sorry, Dan. Hopefully the next vacation will make up for it.
Not in April yet. My worry is it will be about 2 days before they do it.....I thought they did officially announce it.
Wise words Chief. And a hell of a lot cheaper. We had Dodgers tickets as well, looks like that's done as well...Well, here a couple of places still open..., under your bed and your basement.
HEY! Carson almost made it through a season! I remember watching the Champ game with you on FB....Spoiler alert: it was nothing.
It's official. I just read Disney's position re: WDW and I imagine DL is similar. Full refunds everywhere or tickets extended through the end of the year. APs extended for the length of time of the closure.Morning guys. Starting to get Cabin Fever with this working from home. Have to wait until Disney officially announce they won't be open until I can get my points back. Trouble is, some of them were banked, so I'm hoping they will out them into next Use year. Otherwise I might have some points for rent budgie numbers.
I might start binge watching the Eagles "All or nothing", whilst, doing some work. Because no one is calling me in for quick meetings, I'm on top of everything, and have an empty email, so I'm finishing what I need to do at about 12. This is just weird.
Have a great day fellas.
Ouch. Or... "We've been planning to go to Disney for the last 4 years!"I saw someone pose a question about the Masters tournament next month: can you imagine trying to win the lottery for tickets your whole life, finally winning this year and then having it cancelled?
They did.I thought they did officially announce it.
Well Dan, you could go to... crap, they're closed, ok then you could go to... what?, they're closed too. Well, here a couple of places still open..., under your bed and your basement.
Ah. Yes, closures (so far) are until the end of the month. But... I suspect that will change. This virus isn't magically (or happily, depending on which park you want) going to go away in 2 weeks. Not in April yet. My worry is it will be about 2 days before they do it.....
Yeah, but just up till March 31. My res is Apr 11. The likelihood based on Shanghai, HK and Tokyo is that it will run on, but I can't do anything yet. It's official. Who says I don't?You would think a Lego guy would have a whole room set up with Disney Lego. He could just play there all day and pretend.
Who says I don't?

Yeah, I saw that. Didn't catch the April part til after.Yeah, but just up till March 31. My res is Apr 11. The likelihood based on Shanghai, HK and Tokyo is that it will run on, but I can't do anything yet.
