ASVAB - Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery.

Those were mandatory for male seniors when I was in high school (small rural town school, girls don't go into the army.....). They took all the guys into the auditorium right before Christmas break and had us take it. I had to leave early for a stock show so I only got halfway thru mine. The results came back and they said I could qualify for combat duty but wouldn't be allowed to advance past PFC (E3); I told them that I only took 1/2 the test and he said well that is how you scored so that is what you would be. LOL

Then it's beer, elevation, ice, heat pad, and drugs for the pain - maybe not in that order.

I start with beer and generally forget the rest of the steps.

But if he went on the nose candy I bet he’d make a great first album.

Evening gents, I’ve been in Halifax, Nova Scotia all week for business meetings. Full days in the office and then “team” dinners in the evenings, so not much time for sightseeing or extracurricular stuff. Halifax is a great city in the summer but the middle of winter is not the right time of year to walk the Harbour front. On the plus side, I’m eating and drinking too much on the company’s dime.

I’ve missed a few pages of chatter but noticed @jtjohnson is expecting. Congrats!

Morning, my Mickey admiring offspring having brethren. -2C in the mother country today. The motor is in for service, so that's 400 I won't see again. I would do it myself, but we lease our cars so its part of the agreement.

I feel for ya mate. My two are 8 and 5, and the Lady K had Hyperemesis on both pregnancies for the whole terms. She had to go and get fluids from A&E. Not fun. All the best.
