Hey guys I have safely made it to my deployed location. I would say I am going to go back and reaald all the posts but to be completely honest I dont think I will be doing that beccause I just spent over 30 hours on and off a plane. Hope everyone is doing well.

Stay safe and God bless

Good morning, David. Good morning, dads.
The countdown to knee surgery is here. Friday (as usual) can't get here soon enough!

The countdown to Webmaster Kathy ending this bad boy is probably near as well. When does the real race to the finish begin?

And happy Monday to you all. Good luck and Godspeed! :goodvibes

Thank you for the offer. I just checked DWs schedule and not only is she working that day but is on call from 11p-7a that night. I'll take a rain check if you're offering one. I'd love to come up for a game at some point. :thumbsup2

Rain check it is. Let me know when you have some time. If the Sox are done by then, a Patriots game may be in order.:thumbsup2

It has been awhile and just had time for a brief read through. Seems like Situation Normal.

We were having a great year here. Dry, low humidity and plenty of sun, but lately the sky has opened up. Not a good situation as the disease pressure is really going to build and weeds will come on like mad. I checked my hops and I am hoping the cones mature before the diseases take over. I'm also in charge of growing 1500 pumpkins for pre-K-1st graders that come in for Pumpkin Days and really don't need cool rainy weather. I'll be very happy when the people who think this is a good idea retire. For most of them it is a 2-3 day event but for me it is almost 5 months of work with very little return.

Have a great weekend and bacon for all.

Prayers that the weather cooperates and the season is a great one. We grew pumpkins a couple of years. The ones we were able to keep the animals away from came out great. We have been discussing growing one of those super sized ones for a few years, but haven't pull the trigger yet.

Good luck with the knee. Really, I mean it.

Forget what I just said.

Have the tickets for the 30th. Got all 4 behind the plate. Hopefully Paul will decide to come this time. Any other dads in the area on the 30th?

That sounds like fun. I would like to do that with my dds, especially if I can get some lobsters and cook them outside in boiling water or grill.

I've avoided the sports doctor. My family dr has been treating my knee with prednisone. I don't know if it is anything worse than tendinitis, but I'm too chicken to find out. Since Obamacare, my insurance is great for co-pays for family doctor, but for any type of outpatient procedures, I'd have to sell my DVC. I'll wait for the kidney stones and see if they'll scope my knee at the same time. :lmao:

No lobster on the menu this weekend, unfortunately. They do have a pretty decent seafood restaurant in the are so maybe all hope is not lost.

We have really good health insurance, paid mostly by the company. I'm sure the Insurance company has had just about enough of the bills for the knee.

=Ummmmm… yea. How 'bout you come and tell her. :duck:

:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2:

Evening from Sarnia. Reunited with the girls now everyone's happy. Crazy day today, way too busy. Certainly earned this time off.

Tomorrow's agenda is the usual Sarnia fare.... Going over the river to Port Huron for a bit, then relaxing and visiting with the inlaws.

Enjoy the vacation Brent.

Evening Gents. Successful house hunting trip. We've narrowed it down to 2 houses. Same lost price for both. Now the hard part. Deciding on the one.

A good day at work yesterday. The General counsel came in to my office and handed me an envelope with a letter and said "thanks for all your work so far this year." I was a little confused, since I have only been there for 5 months. Apparently, this is the time of year where we hear about pay increases, so I got a modest raise. The company is doing well, could be better, but still doing well enough to give modest raises.

All in all not a bad way to start the weekend.

Have a good one fellas!

RW

Congrats on the raise! I say flip a coin and go with that on the house. Good luck getting the process going.

Today is my last day to customize the Magic Bands!

Anybody know how long after that they will be shipped?

I am so looking forward to going - the whole family is. The tough part is for the kids because once we come back, school starts up the next week.

We are traveling 8/20 and ours are not here yet. I think they said a couple weeks before the trip.

But then I would have to go out to the front lawn to get stuff. Plus, what do you need a freezer for? There are many good BBQ joints in Kentucky.

What do you need a freezer for? There is seafood in the ocean.

The race has begun.

I'm surprised the race has not started yet??

You are currently in the race.

.

Bummer. We don't camp or fish very often, but one of the things I always enjoyed was eating what we caught. Yes, it is a lot more work, but somehow, the fish I caught out of the river and cooked outside tastes better than the one I bought in the restaurant.

Good morning!

I haven't logged on here in about 10 days, so I'm just going to say congratulations, good luck, condolences, happy birthday and have some bacon.

‘Morning all…
Last week my morning commute resulted in this particular view…

This week, it’s back to looking at the inside of a cubical… :sad2:
On the plus side, it is pouring down rain right now(so I've got that going for me).

Hope all are doing well ‘round here. Congrats and prayers as needed; bacon and beer for all.
Now, what’s this I hear about a race of some type that’s supposed to be getting started?

No more work!

Have a great couple of weeks, fellas. And please pray that we'll be able to manage this trip with the baby. :faint:
Good Luck. We're all counting on you.
Good Morning Gents! Getting ready for DHS today and the insanity that appears to be Frozen. Have a good weekend.

Let me know how that frozen stuff is. DD wants to go but I'd rather hop out of DHS and get another half day of MK. We'll let YOU decide.:thumbsup2

I've got a sunburn, a hundred mosquito bites and my chest, shoulders and arms are sore from too much time battling for supremacy of an inflated tube being pulled by a boat at slightly ridiculous speeds over choppy waters in Northern Wisconsin. I'm feeling bloated from the mass consumption of beer and food cooked over a fire. I almost got attacked by a small mouth bass while looking for a sunken wiffle ball.

God I love vacation.

I normally wait to about page 260 before I fire up the new thread, let see if we get there this time.

Nice. But I gotta ask- how'd you sink a whiffle ball?

Morning all....\\Now this is a pace I can race at..:rotfl2:

Agreed.

We're becoming a bit slower as we get older as a group... All part of life. :rotfl2:

Huh? I thought you were The Race Grand Champion.

Sounds terrific. Take the next few days at the office to relax.

This is a slow race closure.
