Good Lord how did this week start this way?:headache::headache::headache:

Trip report? What's a trip report?

....and I'm off to get GA Taxes postmarked. Yay me:rolleyes2

Gentleman, I humbly request membership in your distinguished club.

My name is Dave. I have been blessed with the role of "Stay At Home Dad" for 10 years now. I have a 10 year old daughter and a 7 year old son. Part of my job description as SAHD is "Family Travel Coordinator." :thumbsup2

I grew up on the west coast and some of my fondest childhood memories were the 3 seperate trips we took to Disneyland.

I rediscovered my love of Disney in 2009. Since then my family has taken 4 Disney Cruises, two trips to WDW, and two family trips to the Disneyland Resort. I was also able to fly down for a one day trip with a friend for lunch in Club 33 last May. I've managed to work in Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at WDW and Christmas time at Disneyland.

I am a regular listener of both Dis Unplugged podcasts (just added the DisDads podcast to my queue). I have a gold D23 membership. My kids have given me at least 2 different Disney coffee mugs as gifts. I have more Disney shirts and jackets than I count without going to the closet.

When it comes to planning vacations I am a firm believer in "Think Disney First." My wife - "What about San Fran?", "Sure! We could visit the Walt Disney Family Museum". Hawaii? Aulani! Europe? Disney Cruise and Disneyland Paris!

My lovely wife insisted that our last trip be Disney free. :( While we did spend spring break this year on beach in Mexico, I still wore a Disney item or two and brought a copy of Mary Poppins to read next to the pool.

Our next Disney trip will be an Alaskan cruise in July of 2015.

What can I say - I'm a Disney nut and proud of it. So, um, mind if I join y'all?

Welcome aboard! It's a good group... Well mostly at least... I mean, some of the guys are ok... Alright, there are 1 or 2 decent people... Yeah, fine, it's not really an upstanding establishment, but whatever. Grab a drink and strap in for the ride...

The northern guys are good.

I may have to brush up my TR writing skills and actually document this upcoming trip. :rolleyes1

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Maybe we need Randall's smiley as a response here.

Just messin' with ya. It's nice having you back here, Don.:thumbsup2

Picked them up from the accountant yesterday and popped my $51 check to the good 'ol state of Connecticut in the mail. :headache:

I filed my taxes last month to the state. A week later they sent me a check saying I overpaid. Then another week later they sent me a bill saying the check I received was due to a computer glitch, and I needed to pay that amount back...plus an extra $3 for some reason.:confused3

It was a $3 penalty for believing them in the first place.

Well duh... they've got to charge you some interest. They can't just let you borrow that money for free. :rolleyes1 :headache: :lmao:

What were we talking about again? And GET OFF MY LAWN!!
I think we were talking about you bringing me some New Glarus. ::yes::

Blame it on the blood moon :rolleyes1

Tax day blues. :badpc:
And all this time I thought we were supposed to blame it on the alcohol. :scared:

Yes. Yes we are. :thumbsup2

LOL… that's something CT would do.

Did you hear bout this? Connecticut taxpayers to receive $55 refund

It is all a crock. There is no real surplus just the gubmint fudging numbers. I'm gonna have to pay taxes on that $55. I wish they would drop a few cents off one of the highest gas taxes in the country or just hold onto the money.

Gubmint at its best. (where did that head banging into wall smilie go?)

Afternoon.....got to wake up to a layer of snow this morning!:faint:

Tax Day? We've almost spent all our return already :sad2:

Nope. Politics. I agree with you... put it back in the coffer for later use. Fix some roads or something. Sounds like they are just trying to buy votes or something.

Right here...

Oh No! The igloos across the street are melting! I can see their wooden support structures. Don't worry, I'm sure there will be a blast of cold air along soon to put things back to normal.

I kind-of do that through FB when I'm there. But there is just something special about writing everything down and including the pics in a TR. Hmmm... MAYBE I'll just start a PTR....:surfweb:

Decided to end writing TRs. Instead something more time consuming, I do videos of trips. Just finished the one on Marathon Weekend.

Welcome Dave, just make sure you watch the guys from Boston.

Blame it on the blood moon :rolleyes1

Tax day blues. :badpc:

Stayed up last night to see it. Kind of cool.

That sounds very cool. Which do you think takes more time... TR writing or video editing? Would love to see the final product!

Lucky! 100% sky cover for us here. Maybe next time.
