Happy gotcha day to your son!Tonight would normally be a celebration dinner out, but it will have to pushed out until the weekend....
tonight will be panko crusted chicken strips. air fried, then made into chicken strip wraps. Maybe I'll grab some tater tots to go wioth them
I'll need to stop on the way home to grab a small cake (and a few other things). Today is our "Happy Gotcha Day". 8/13/2003 was the day my wife and I met our son for the first time. He was born in South Korea and came home on this day, 22 years ago. Several months later the adoption became final, and we became a family. He's fresh out of the military and started a new job this week, so the celebration dinner will be this weekend.
Happy Birthday to your son!
What a celebration week indeed. Next steps after military service is always an exciting adventure!Well done!
Edited! Have a wonderful celebration. His birthday is actually in March. Today is the day he came home for the first time. He was about 4.5 months old when he came home and when we adopted him. Today has always been a special day for us, and we always celebrate it.

The only good thing in either dish was the potatoes. DH really enjoyed those.
