That's a possibility. We are only low 50's here today so you get a little more heat today. Supposed to be back up to 40 and more rain on Saturday from what I am hearing. This weather is crazy. We'll be lucky if we are all not sick with pneumonia by the end of January.

Morning Guys! Looks like that frozen tundra stretches up to northern Ohio David! It's like a blizzard outside with this wind. But, I made it in to work....I'm sure it'll be a terribly busy day.

Just plain rain coming down in sheets. In the lower 50's so not much dance of freezing. It will melt most of what we got last week. Stay safe. Have a good day back. Lots to do, now is the quiet period and slow clean up from the madness of the holidays. Everything is icing up here I almost slipped on the sidewalk, I really need to get boots I think. Funny to hear about all the schools closing ours are all open.

Well - they finally instituted a Level 3 snow emergency in our county at Noon. So we closed work down then as well.

Glad I'm home! 2 more days of work!

This morning it was 57 degrees at my house. Tonight it will be in the single digits. It'll be a miracle if we all don't have pneumonia by the end of the week.

Currently it's -15 here (real feel of -31)

What is the likelyhood that the temps will be sub-zero tomorrow and the potential for an early "arrival".

I assume that as a DOT employee, you would just borrow a plow to have at the ready just in case.

We have less than a month to go to the official due date. And the kids have been born progressively earlier. So, we're basically into the "it could be any moment" stage.

That would make for an awesome "origin story" for this kid.

BLT has been there for months. I'm renting points for that one. I just added the Port Orleans one for March. Were you thinking I bought DVC and didn't tell you? If I inherit a large amount of money and buy in, you'll be the first to know. Maybe not first but top 15 at least. No lower than 50th..

Getting stuff ready to leave tomorrow am. Her clothes are in the washer, mine to follow. Camera stuff packed including the new GoPro. Never got the straps I ordered so the kid is going to get a chest harness for it. I may let her take it on the 10K to video the race. Still need to purchase assorted snacks and beverages which I will get later.

One curve ball. Her best friends are the twins next door. The three of them are less than a year apart and act like sisters. Another childhood friend of theirs is stranded down here and needs to get back to school in Orlando. The kid's parents are real pieces of work. They allowed her to stay sometimes at their house but basically disowned her years ago. The twin's mom did more to raise her than they did. Her car doesn't work and the dad promised to have a friend "fix" it. Of course it isn't ready, so she is stuck. The live in boyfriend is useless and another piece of garbage. Top it all off, she is a couple of months pregnant and the boyfriend took himself out of the picture. The shame about it is that she is a good kid, gets good grades, never in trouble... I just have a feeling if we run into the boyfriend I may need bail posted.

Sorry for ranting but it makes me even more thankful that I have a kid that has it together.

You should sit on his lap and ask for a tofu free 2014.

Even Santa won't be able to grant that request. There will always be some Tofu product in the house unfortunately.

Nope, circle January 23rd on your calendar, 8:42 pm, 6 pound 7 ounce girl. That is if it isn't triplets.
