You're forgiven! LOL The Marshall cake is my favorite...and thanks to all the rest of the Dads who sent birthday wishes to me here and on facebook and text messages. It made the day a great one!!

Updates on the father situations. FIL is quite comfortable in the hospital, it's double pneumonia but will be fine.

Way more concerned with my own father, he's not looking or sounding very good. Going for a new, hard hitting chemo next week, directly at his lungs which are getting worse. He's going to Kay very low this holiday season, even to the point he confided in me he might not even go out for Christmas dinner at my brothers if the chemo is Taft bad, going to mark up his face with blemishes and sores. They are arranging for him to see a lung specialist. We did a small job today and it just took everything out of him, laying down. Never seen him like this.

I walked away from free Yuengling Lager. I could justify it by saying I needed to call my kids before they went to bed, and I did call them, but the reality may actually be that I didn't feel like hanging around socializing for crackers, meatballs and beer.

I'm feeling more McFrosty than Hope these days.

Well dads, my mom broke her hip last week and my 31 year old brother who lives in her basement almost burnt my house down on thanksgiving. He also told my mom she should go into a rehab hospital because it's too hard for him right now.

My question is: should I kill him now or after my disney cruise?

In reality, I just wanted to vent to y'all bc I know you all have family members that tick you off at times.

I think you should hire a care provider and a hit man. Have the hit while you are on the cruise, setting up an alibi. I've watched too many episodes of Law & Order.

I just don't drink all that often anymore except for a beer or 2 once in a while. A rainy Wednesday down this way (but at least it ain’t Monday).
Enjoying the holiday décor pics… we may not even get around to doing any of that this year.
Not sure we’ll even be doing gifts for that matter.

I think Revenge of the Sith is the best of the Lucas directed films. The other two parts of that trilogy sucked so bad it brought that movie down a peg. I think the reason the Star Trek reboot did so good is that they are basically Star Wars with different ships. (Time to turn in my Vulcan ears)

Interesting… I think I’ve only seen “Revenge” once (like most of that trilogy). I may need to go watch it again. I also agree with you on the Trek films. I rank ‘em, IV, II, VI… then the Reboot film (but I haven’t seen the second one of those yet)… then I, V, III (and you don’t really need to ever watch any of those three at all). Never got into the TNG films; don’t know why, just didn’t.
