T minus 7 hours to take off. Looking forward to meeting a few DISDads while we are there. Whole family is going, kids, grandkids, kid in law, the works. I don't think it's going to happen, but close the thread at your own peril. And if you do close it, last one to post, please turn off the light and lock the door, until I get a new clubhouse built.

Enjoy yourself and send us a pic each morning to help the rest of us through our days. Again, enjoy the family time and safe travels.

I think I saw you. I pulled up a picture from one of the DisDad threads and asked DW, "Does that guy look like this guy in the picture?"

I thought the same thing then kinda did a noooooo, can't be - how about that.

DS is going to be Jake for the second year in a row. (By his own request ) We got home last night and he told me he wasn't going to have his sword for Halloween because he couldn't find it. I knew I had just seen him playing with it a few days ago, so being the good dad that I am, we turned the house upside down until we found it! I made a deal with him that he had to share his candy since I helped him find his sword. Everything was great and I was the hero and the best dad in the world...

Untill DW got home... Apparently he was hitting his sister with the sword a few days ago and the sword was more "hidden" than "lost."





Oh well, the kid thinks dad is awesome and I get candy!

I'm going to follow up my World Series behind the plate night by going completely opposite tonight. I'm going to the Celtics home opener tonight with DS. After tonight, we should be one game closer to the lottery.

Warm day here today, in the 70's, but really strong winds and maybe some thunderstorms rolling through. Hope everyone had a great Halloween. Those heading out tonight, make sure you sample a few of the kids treats.......for safety reasons of course. We had about 350-400 kids last night show up at the house.

Good morning gentlemen, and Sean.

The house is 90% ready for the kid's birthday party on Sunday. I have made a mental note not to schedule another Disney trip within two weeks of the kids' birthday party. I also checked my schedule at work and found I got shift change I put in for. Instead of being scheduled Saturday and Sunday 2am to 10am I am now Friday through Sunday 8pm to 4am. I can still pick up more shifts if I want but I like having three days guaranteed instead of just 2.
