Just booked a stay at the Boardwalk in April 2014. Randall, will you please add me to the list for April 5-11? I'll do Spring Break at WDW, as long as it is not in the busy Easter season.

I'm going to call at the 7 month window and try to get a Beach Club/ Grand Floridean split stay.

Good afternoon all. It is turning nice after another 1/4" of rain this AM. We have had measurable rain every day but 3 this month and 14 days of rain last month. Great weather for growing grass and rice, neither of which I want to grow.

...So the wife is on board with my plans to go to WDW next September, and I've started a pre-trip report here. Next up, conning, er, I mean, convincing my parents into joining us, since it IS their only grandchild, and they don't get to see him that often....

I'm tempted to do the blood plasma once the kids are in school full time. Sounds like a good way to fund vacations without taking money out of the main budget.

Thanks to everyone for your prayers. My wife worked out a way to be able to stay through Tuesday night so she could go to the services. We drove down there yesterday and I came back today while she stayed. Things like this really give you a whole new appreciation for what you have. I definitely hugged my children harder and longer tonight when I got back to the house.

Evening....

Had a good time at the Christmas in July, although I feel bad. A lot were invited, but in the end, only immediate family and one of my brother's friends showed up. A lot of work was put into it, and a lot of people copped out at the last minute. Feels like I've been in the sun all day, but I stay in the deep shade.
