hey Randall, I was checking page 1 and saw I never let you know our trip has been changed. October 14-26th. Thanks. :thumbsup2

Late to the party as usual, but CONGRATULATIONS Mark!

If you see Grown Ups 2, there is a pretty funny few minutes at the end I think you'll enjoy. Of course with all the juvenile male humor in the movie, my stomach hurt from laughing. Didn't get good cinema scores, but I thought it was funnier than the first one.

Saw Grown Ups 2 yesterday. Both my wife and I could not understand why it gets such poor reviews from the film critics. We laughed non-stop through the entire movie to the point that I nearly burp-snarted.... :rotfl2:

Afternoon gents! Head out of town on business tomorrow for a few days this week and then more travel next week. Not bad, breaks up the day job stuff and helps build up points for more family travel.

This (3). Otherwise, someone will ask if you're Oklahoma fan. :lmao:
Agree #3 AND NICE JOB

When I get off work I can sleep through a tornado or the kids ripping up the house. What always wakes me is DW yelling "Shut up! your dad is sleeping!"
:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2:

We do to. We bought 100 points resale at Boardwalk at $67 per point. There was another 100 point contract available, but I didn't have the money for it at the time. The only reason I may switch to BC/GF in same trip would be those are the two DVC resorts at WDW I haven't been to yet. And, as we usually go in October, BC is impossible to get then.

I want to do a trip to Aulani and DL in same trip, four days at both?, as I doubt I will ever be able to afford airfare. DW wants to go on a Disney cruise. Those just might be a 15th, 20th, or 25th anniversary trip - maybe.

I am planning to include DL on way out to Aulani to break up the travel a bit for next years trip - great minds think alike. We did DL this past spring break / March and had 4 full park days which was more than enough - can easily see all of DL in 2-3 days. Since we did DL already thinking about flying out of Nashville on a Thursday, spend 2 nights at DL with Friday as a park day and then head to Aulani from LAX on Saturday and stay for 7 nights.

If you have any specific questions about DCL feel free to PM as we have done 8 and everything from a 3night to a B2B 4&5 nighter for 9 night total.

I will be extremely happy to take your word for it! And thanks.

Thanks Brian!

Thanks David!

Well, it may be necessary just for our own sanity. I hear March Madness is a popular weekend for that.

We thought we were done, too. :scared1:

So for the last few few pages I was thinking this was a joke. I'm starting to think you're actually having another baby. Congrats!
Mark - congratulations on the new little tax deduction!

I remember back when Bambi was pregnant with #3 how you told us that the world was build for families of 4, and going to a family of 5 was going to be a tough transition. Well brother, good luck with 6. :thumbsup2

And if you're wondering if we'll be trying to keep up - no. Got the appointment set up with Dr. Snippy for the Friday we get back from Disney World. So as much as coming home from most Disney vacations is like a kick in the giblets, well, fill in your own punchline here.

Just don't bring back any "souvenirs".:cool2:

I think we missed you by a few days before? :confused3

I may take you up on the cruise question. DW went on a Carnival one with some friends and really enjoyed it. Me - I think I bought DVC to enjoy 30+ years of vacations there, and don't understand why anyone would want to go anywhere else. Now, if I got to captain the boat, then you're onto something.

There's lots of time between now and then.

Have been "scheduling" the appointment for 2 years now. I guess I should just go ahead soon since we don't plan on any more.

I have a couple of side jobs that get me about $4K extra per year. Unfortunately it has all gone to the kids sports the last few years.

I just cannot have that procedure, so it ain't gonna happen. As for the job, I tried the job of them male "dancers", but women kept asking for change with their $1 bills. It wasn't very lucrative.

Children are always a blessing. But that being said I am so thrilled that the Carroll family baby-shop is permanently out of business!

They are a blessing for everyone. For me, I'm lucky to make it to work anymore. I got 9 more years to get the youngest out the door, and I'll be lucky to do that.

Last night we spotted a rabbit out in the front yard grazing on the jungle out there. Turns out she had some babies with her too. What is a DISDad to do when the bunny is grazing but the kids are watching? Get the DSLR camera and practice with the zoom lenses. I'm going to the hardware store later and get some repellent.
:

On a related story, DW found a dead rabbit in back yard. She goes inside and asked me to get rid of it. So, I go outside, get the shovel, scoop it, and fling it over the fence so it will land in the ditch/ field area behind the house. DW said that all she remembered seeing was a flying rabbit over the fence from the window, and wondered how she would explain that one to the dds.

Thanks! Maybe we can sell a couple of kids at the next community yard sale.
:

I tried to give mine away - no luck. I kick them out of the house and they show bak up later to eat and sleep.

We changed to possibly get free dinning and so the kids would miss less school.

Evening, all. Checking in from lovely Erie, PA. Here on business all week. The kicker is that my AC went out of my car on the ride up, and it's to be the hottest week of the summer. Win for me!

Nice and hot time. I remember my first truck only had the windows. Now, can't survive without AC.

Anyway, we had a great day at Turner Field yesterday. The Reds won, we got to watch all the Reds pitchers do their thing in the bullpen, and DS got the ball that JJ Hoover used to warm up. DD on the other hand wasn't so happy to be there, but we still managed to have a good time.

A day at the ball field is better than anywhere else, except WDW.

Been digging around my computer files for the last few hours, found my photos from our trip in 2007 when we did the Pirate and Princess Nights at WDW. Damn I look like a child compared to how I look now, about 30-40 pounds lighter. But damn I look good in that pirate outfit, even CMs were giving me second glances to make sure I wasn't one of them!
]

Good picture. I'm convinced the washer and dryer are just really shrinking all my clothes.

Last day of Staycation I, it's my day off for the week. Tomorrow starts an 11 day run of work. :scared: By myself, as DW has left for work and dropped both girls to the Day Camp. Very hot and humid out today, so I've got 14 hours of paranormal TV saved on the DVR I'll plow through, got the AC on, andsome cold beverages close by. :thumbsup2 Need to contact CAA to find out when to order my triptix for next month too. :thumbsup2
...

11 days of work? That stinks. Good luck.

Unfortunately another 2-1 loss and wouldn't you know it, their keeper stopped a PK and the rebound.

Of course. All that fatherly advice killed in a 3 second span. Yeah, I get those too.

Checked in for the flight, packing almost done, surprise reveal in about 12 hours.

Erie is a great town! I grew up east of there in NY but trips to Erie were routine for school shopping to save on the taxes. If you get a chance check out Pulakos chocolates and the Erie Maritime Museum.

I like in much better in the summer. We're actualky going to get out on the lake tomorrow after work for a few hours of perch fishing. Kind of excited.
