2nd UY Question

too far away... but I wish.... I have such great memories of the Disneyland Hotel.... I have considered buying it as SAP but just can't quite get there between restrictions and the fact I live nowhere near California!

In fact, I think I started a thread a few years ago, and the hive mind informed me that VDH as SAP was a terrible idea!
SSR perhaps?

We own at 8 resorts in 18 contracts under 6 UY/memberships. By all means do NOT put the same resort under two UYs. You will need a degree in higher-level mathematics to track this and you will give up points every year because you lose track of the banked and borrowed. There is such small value in the OTU pts and you'd be better off just buying a few more. Resale market is full of VGF contracts.

Now, if you wanted a different resort, no problem to use a different UY -- could even be helpful. I hate planning vacations toward the end of my UY because life happens and then I can't bank them, so as a tiebreaker between resorts I will book the one that is earlier in the UY so I can cancel and bank if needed.

I have both RIV and VGF in two different UYs but o only have 5 total contracts.

And the points in each UY are used at different times and trips so it’s not too bad!

Wow!!
I can’t even imagine how you keep up with all of that, especially booking 7-11 months out. lol

I wanted to ask this in the comma club thread, but what is the biggest contract number?
XX.01, XX.02, etc
I have a spreadsheet :-) and I know several owners who are in the same league as I am on points -- dream is to spend winters at Disney once my husband and I can get away from the PNW in retirement. We don't like the upkeep of a second home so letting Disney do that for us! Meanwhile we rent out to pay our dues! Which are a LOT :-)
