Ok well I have some not so good news...

On Thursday of last week I got rear ended on I4 near US 17-92. It was bad to where I have been in the hospital since that day. After several x-rays and tests, I find that my L1-L6 on pinched and may have to under go quite long rehab and perhaps surgery. I am home now and bound to bed and light movement. Here is some off topic images, sorry no not looking for sympathy but to just, I guess, explain where I have been.

Sorry to hear about your accident and injury. I hope things improve soon. Prayers that recovery is only rest and surgery is not needed. Make sure you rest as much as possible and listen to the doctors.

I really need to figure out this multiquote/post thing. Every time I try it keep only posting one.

Evening guys. Good day of football today. :thumbsup2

Just called off school in MA tonight for Monday. I think we are on the outer edge as it is predicted now so hopefully not too bad. To all Dads in the way of the storm, stay warm, dry and safe.

Let's hope you're right, I don't feel like dealing with another week without power like last year!!! :rotfl:

Just click the little box that has the quotation marks and the + symbol on the bottom right of each post you want to multi quote (the box will turn red when clicked". Then hit reply once you've got them all, and you'll see them all in the text box. :thumbsup2

Yes, let's hope. Stay safe and we'll get that lunch in as soon as things are clear.

Thanks! It's so simple, now I feel a little silly.:headache:

Back from soccer. Unfortunately, we lost in championship game 0-1. But, the other team committed four fouls to our 0. I hate to lose, but losing when it is clear the opposing coach is teaching kids to charge and push, it just stinks. We had several good shots on goal, and we had two breakaway attempts thwarted by fouls. No cautions were issued. No sour grapes - just wantd to be able to say cheaters never win, but probably better they learn the real life lesson now.

The silver medal. Getting to place the medal on my youngest dd, in front of her teammates and families, and saying I was proud of her was my tournament trophy.

Thank you much! I am hoping no surgery also. But meanwhile I have some nice pain killers but having a fiancé is keeping me from getting dependent on them.

Congratulations! :cool1: Silver metal position is on the platform and something to be very proud of. It looks like you have a small squad there. We usually have 11 or 12 on a team here with 6 v 6 games. Keep teaching them to enjoy the game and play hard and with honor. A great life lesson.

Lots of wind and rain today, ride home from Sarnia was pleasant :sad2: Hope everyone on the East Coast is doing well and staying safe and dry. Prayers be with you all

Heading to a Halloween party tonight at of one of the coaches we may play tomorrow. Eyeballs (Oreo & cream cheese centr, white chocolate, M&M iris). I thought about adding laxatives with red iris and give to him to try to gain an advantage. :lmao:

Eye approve of those treats.

Oh ya- to our east coast dads- prayers that frankenstorm is just a funny name and passes you all by with no damage.

I hope like last years "Snowmaggedon" which left no snow.

With apologies to Pixar, cars are just cars, as long as you are okay. Prayers and hope you have a speedy recovery.

How has everyone been this weekend? Sick as a dog here and been in bed most all day....Hopefully tomorrow will be better. It is our 12th anniversary tomorrow. I am a lucky guy to have found her....

Get better! Happy anniversary to you two. Hope you have a great day, and hope you resolve the wallet issue too...

Thanks. We had 8 players. Our KYSA rules say that you can't have more on a team that twice number of players on field. So, as we did 6v6, we could have had rosters of 11. I did the team coordination, and I like keeping teams to 8 as it maximizes playing time. The rules also say that each player must be given half the amount allotted playing time. The other challenge is that with more teams, we have to find more coaches. With a small roster, I am able give play them more that that. There are some sleepovers and illnesses when we are down to 6 players, but I'd still prefer to deal with no subs as opposed to 5 sitting on the bench for half the game.

Ok well I have some not so good news...

Sorry to see the damage. Glad to hear that it wasn't more serious for you.

On the way out the door to church this evening and I noticed that I had lost my wallett someplace. Searched hi and low with no luck. The only place I had been was Outback this afternoon for am anniversary lunch. I called up there and nothing had been turned in. So, dropped the kids off at AWANA and back home and started making phone calls to cancel and reissue new cards....Uuugh! I hope whoever found my wallett needed the money at least. I had 150 in cash in it... While we were at dinner Lauren was determined to have the crew sing to us...so blurted it out to the waitress it was our anniversary and that she wanted some cake I told her to be still...but when we were gathering up to leave the girl came with a big bowl of ice cream for us and they sang Happy Birthday since they dont have an anniversary song Lauren didnt care...she got her ice cream

Sorry to hear about the wallet. :sad2: Smart kid you got there! :thumbsup2
