yes!!! ive made it on the post list, im impressed almost 10 pages since I got on this morning, thats alot to catch up on,and seeing this is the 21st thread ill be catching up forever

I've been trying for a week now to buy a raffle ticket for a 2012 Harley Switchback at one of the towns firehouses, I've tried everyday at different times, seems like no one is ever there:rotfl2: Makes me think my chances are good since it's so hard to get a ticket, there are only 300 tickets being sold, so that would be a 1 in 300 chance:banana:

I like those odds since the lottery ticket I won on last week was 1 in 3760:confused3

Two pages of Bla Bla Bla... So what else did I miss on the 8 pages you guys put put since noon?:rotfl::rotfl2::lmao:

Hey! I read your bla bla Beverly. But, I actually talked about my family and responded to today's Disney topic.

No. I'm a man of my word. No gag. It won't be bacon because it won't make it to the post office. It won't be yuengling bc I can't get that here in Illinois. It will be something Disney. You have my word, and you know it's good bc I'm a lawyer

Trust a lawyer? Do I have you on retainer? :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao:

Carl, we are heading to SP tomorrow afternoon, going to stay till after the night parade

Hey guys, sitting in the dark here in Currituck. Has a nice little storm roll thru and are without power.

Hope the power is restored quickly! You are welcome to use my generator if it gets to be longer. We were spared here where we are. Lots of lightning all around and little rain. Blessed.

Much better than this morning, pretty much drove home with one eye shut and the other squinted almost shut. Got home and went right to bed and slept until about 1. Still got a slight headache but nothing like before.

Glad you are doing better! A good night sleep should shake the rest off :thumbsup2

You've probably seen enough already to know catching up isn't expected or recommended.

Hey, by thread 100, it will be anyone's game.

Those are good odds. I won one of those keys to start a Harley-Davidson motorcycle from a radio show. I won the key. It didn't start the bike.

Well then thats something worth me going back and reading:lmao:

And, as you can see, I do go back and read through everyone's posts.

Sorry I havent learn real names yet, AirGoofy, I just read your Disneytopia thread, didnt you know in our Nashville the orange flashing yellow barrels our state bird? theres alot of bridge work but should be finished before OCT

Norm. How close is Hendersonville to Nashville?

Philip here, Hendersonville is about 15 min north of nashville, on 65 you go right past hendersonville when you pass vietnam vets parkway/rivergate

I thought I had seen signs on the way, but couldn't remember. Will holler at you when we go to Nashville. Youngest dd loves the RainForest Cafe, and we used to go to the one in Opry Mills mall before the flood. Did it re-open?

In October, we are leaving Friday afternoon and will arrive in WDW Saturday morning. We drive straight thru. I as thinking we would drive down to Nashville some other weekend, meet-up at Opry Mills, and eat at RFC.

sounds good to me just give me a heads up and we will make it happen, i was thinkin it was nuts to stop that long on the way to disney to just eat and look at some shops. if i remember right after the last trip to disney my parents took my brother and I on. my mom discovered the wonderful world of flight and hasnt taken a car trip since, we are flying down that sunday, which is alot better for my sanity and my DD4 we flew down to orlando 2 years ago and took DD2 at the time to nick studios she had a blast

I like Sam adams spring and summer brews and that is about it. I think Sam Adams has actually been going down hill in recent years. There are so many microbrews now that put Sam Adams to shame.

True, I'm not a fan of the spring though, summer's good. We have a lot of new local micros making their mark here. And I've got some good insider's info that some American micros are comming here.

I just read this article and I'd like to get the dads' comments:

Disney World tells Thomas Tolbert to be less 'Santa-ish'

I've read of other Santa look-alikes who discourage autographs and that is key. It could encourage kids to warm up to strangers too easily. I think Disney made the right call, but I am sure the media will overblow it as usual.

Brent - Did ya see this? You were away last weekend when Scott came....

I saw it when I got back, nicely done. Dinner in Northern Canada was burgers, fries, onion rings and fried cheese sticks from a chip truck that night. :rotfl2: I did wave at you guys at Wonderland when we drove past. :thumbsup2

If I wear red, like a DISDad shirt, kids stop and stare. I'll smile at them, you know, like we are sharing a secret and they'll get a big grin and run off to tell their parents who they saw. :rotfl:

Good job. Dad plays Santa every year for a few Christmas Parties, usually the Firefighters, and one for kids whose parents are deployed in the armed forces. He does only these two now, used to do more, but obviously with the chemo and such, has to tone it down. He has to use the beard and padding though.

This just in, Sean tells Paul to be less Canadian.
You can never be Canadian enough..

I just get it from the booth out front of that huge building at the center of the World Showcase.

Last year I had to go inside to get the Summer Ale, only had lager and IPA out front.

In draft version in DHS.

Yup, in a few places now too.....

Sam Adams beer.

On the road this week. So, I do miss my dds, but I was able to Tango Face Chat with them and that made it a little better. Was able to visit with my parents tonight and had some Texas Roadhouse ribs and beer. It is past my bedtime though. See you all later. :tiptoe:

Can't wait until football season.

Nope. Played soccer at Illinois State
Is that like a community college or something?

Barry- that's cold. I was in the circus while was there, so we all know it's a clown college (yes the circus part is true)

Santa had me on his side until the last line when he said maybe look alikes should just be treated like celebrities so nobody sees them. That and the autograph thing make it pretty clear that he knows he looks like Santa and is likely doing it for the attention. I'm with Disney on this one.

Don't want some random guy tyring to get close to kids in their parks these days either.

Agree.

Happy Anniversary!!! To many more!

~Camera Friends - What all do you use to carry your gear around? I use my HP back pack and its annoying to take it off, reach into it and pull out whatever I need. I don't want a shoulder bag also. Because I already have a book bag on don't need to look like a tourist lol. No offense to anyone. But I was hoping something around that could clip on to my belt and strap to my leg with a Velcro flap for easy access to my lenses.

Sorry to miss whoever's anniversary it was. Hope it was a good one.

I use a strap. But then again, it is hooked to my BC while diving.

Seminars done for the day. I now know that Chinese pollen is correlated with internal kernel breakdown in 'Colossal' chestnut. Not sure that was worth 8 hours of my life.

Banquet time.

Damn Chinese pollen.

We don't need no stinkin' badgers

No you didn't! A certain Dis Dad is going to go all Badger on you.

Yo. Chatty day?

Yea, you guys were busy today.

Can't wait until football season.

Me to. College, not NFL, I only have the Dolphins to watch in the NFL.
