On the road this week. So, I do miss my dds, but I was able to Tango Face Chat with them and that made it a little better. Was able to visit with my parents tonight and had some Texas Roadhouse ribs and beer. It is past my bedtime though. See you all later. :tiptoe:

Always tough to be away from the kids when they are younger. Me? Can't wait to drop the kid off to school on August 23rd.

Me neither.

Is that like a community college or something?

See, I told you. A Badger can of Whoop a$$ just broke out.

Thanks for the blown save, Coco. Think the Reds are regretting letting him go and using Chapman to close???

2 1/2 up in the Central!

going to a cub scout camp out this weekend on BlueClaws field, I hope Fred & Barney show to sing Old McDonald:rotfl2:

Last night in the hotel thankfully. Trying to keep up on the iPhone is futile. After 3 nights I've confirmed that canceling the TV a couple of years ago was a good move. The only thing that I've seen worth watching was the Weather Channel.

Tim did you look up Eat to the Beat:confused3
Yea, I saw the schedule. I doubt I'll be sitting through a whole concert but I will check it out while I'm drinking some Germany beers. ::yes::

Too bad you missed Deadliest Catch. :3dglasses

I'm throwing in the towel on our washing machine:confused:, I've had it apart 3 times in the last few days, I'm pretty sure that the motor is shot well not completely but the fast speed. It would probably be at least 100 & change to get a new motor, but on a 8 yr old machine is it worth it:confused3, how long would it last before something else goes, what if that's not the problem:scared1:

So we started shopping today, let me tell you washing machines really went up in price in the last 8 yrs:rolleyes1 Most likely will not be built as good as the one I'm replacing, they keep adding features to make things easier, I call them money makers since these will be the 1st things that probably will need to be replaced::yes:::badpc:

it's that time again... late-night catching up.

~Camera Friends - What all do you use to carry your gear around? I use my HP back pack and its annoying to take it off, reach into it and pull out whatever I need. I don't want a shoulder bag also. Because I already have a book bag on don't need to look like a tourist lol. No offense to anyone. But I was hoping something around that could clip on to my belt and strap to my leg with a Velcro flap for easy access to my lenses.

I just go with the backpack, and usually have my camera out and ready with whatever lens I think I will need (usually my 18-55).

Mm...I can still taste the Summer Ale from last August. Cherry Wheat I wanted to try for years, just couldn't bother with the hassle of buying and getting across the border. Customs is a pain in the butt. Had it a few times when at the F&W festival, a very good beer.

Wish I could find Yuengling in Epcot though...

Yuengling was my favorite! :thumbsup2

Seminars done for the day. I now know that Chinese pollen is correlated with internal kernel breakdown in 'Colossal' chestnut. Not sure that was worth 8 hours of my life.

Now I know it and it only took me about 8 seconds!!

No kidding. Red Dot. Flashlight. Back up iron. That's it.

And I use just a polymer surefire flashlight to save weight.

Every ounce counts.

I have no idea where people come up with some of that stuff. One of my guys showed up at the range for tactical training with his rifle all Barbied out.

He couldn't strip most of that stuff off by the time I was done with them at lunch.

Some tools are OK, others, not so much.

K.I.S.S. ...it can be applied to anything!

I just read this article and I'd like to get the dads' comments:

Disney World tells Thomas Tolbert to be less 'Santa-ish'

I wonder what his "santa-related attire" was? One trip we saw a guy who I thought was Santa on line for IASW... nobody was asking him for an autograph. This guy apparently had a crowd around him. It's tough to judge from just the phone interview and the transcript, but I got the impression that this guy wants the attention that looking like Santa gives him.

If I wear red, like a DISDad shirt, kids stop and stare. I'll smile at them, you know, like we are sharing a secret and they'll get a big grin and run off to tell their parents who they saw. :rotfl:

maybe that was you I saw that time I was on line at IASW!!

Much better than this morning, pretty much drove home with one eye shut and the other squinted almost shut. Got home and went right to bed and slept until about 1. Still got a slight headache but nothing like before.

glad the melon is feeling better.

How hot are the Brazilians? How old are the Junior High Cheerleaders? These are the important questions.

Um... I think the words "Junior High" define the age range well enough for me. I'm not sure I want to know why the specific age in that range might make a difference for you. :cheer2:

No. I'm a man of my word. No gag. It won't be bacon because it won't make it to the post office. It won't be yuengling bc I can't get that here in Illinois. It will be something Disney. You have my word, and you know it's good bc I'm a lawyer

If anyone's going to take him up on that, I've got some ocean-front property in Nebraska to sell!

we've wanted to replace ours since we bought the house. Sometimes the spin cycle will work, but other times the clothes are still soaked. prices are what's kept us from pulling the trigger up til now. someday...

good luck with yours!

This morning DW wanted to know what I was doing up late last night. I told her I was catching up on the boards. So then, around 11:30am or so she saw me on the computer and asked me what I was doing. I told her I was catching up on the boards. DW says, I thought you did that last night?? So I responded, "yes, but now they're all awake again!"

DW now believes this thread is the biggest "time suckage" ever created. :rotfl2:

Started packing today. DW has gotten "super-organized" and has the kids' outfits planned out for the trip, and stored in individual zip-loc bags so even an idiot like me can get them dressed in the morning without having to ask what they should wear!! :rotfl2:

Finished up my Fish Extender for our cabin on the cruise. Not thrilled with how it came out though. I think it will serve its purpose.

yesterday, my job informed me that I had to replace a sick call with about 3 hours notice. Fun. Not my job at all, but I was able to get it done. Today, same thing happens, but I was better prepared and handled it. On top of that, though, they also informed me that they haven't yet found anyone to cover me while I'm gone the next two weeks!! So now that's on my plate!! ugh!!

so tired. wanted to finish up the TR, but i think it's bedtime. goodnight all!

Happy Wednesday fella's.

I am on the road today as well, like my nemesis. I hope everyone has a good day :thumbsup2

That isn't exactly an inaccurate statement.

Ouch! Good luck in finding something.

If your wife thinks this is a time suckage, she needs to look at this site.

The baggie idea actually sounds pretty good. I would make getting everything ready for the day a lot easier.

Morning Guys!

Seems like the old brain bucket is feeling much better than yesterday, I might actually be able to make it thru a day of work (Not sure if that's a good thing or not). Will try to keep up, but I have to play catch up from yesterday and I'm on the road tomorrow, so we shall see.

CJ - Just read about the Ramirez trade this morning. What's going on in Miami? Is there going to be any fan backlash with ownership selling off the team the first year in the new stadium?
