The ADR was for the DISDad families of twokids0204 and his nasty smelly nemesis Scott2997...

And what did everyone order?

Why the Filet of course...

And the filet is served over a bed of Mushroom Risotto... (minus the truffle butter)

Oh, and for dessert, the kids made there own Ice Cream Sundaes.

imagine a picture here of kids eating ice cream sundaes.

nice job!! :thumbsup2

Solo dad :) Where DD goes, I go.

well, I guess that gives you an excuse to go into the women's bathrooms!

Nope. You need to be there. My two were 8 & 6 and loved every second of it. We did the full package for both that included dresses, shoes, hair, nails, and pictures. They had photo pass in there and I took a bunch of shots myself. They really felt like two princesses, getting to pick out their clothes, sitting in the chair, having people paint their fingernails. Now, the price tag was way too high, but they felt like they were going to the ball. And, we followed it up by going to CRT for dinner. Again, a terrible, pricey meal but a magical day for them. They know that dad is not going to spring for the works again, but if they want their hair and nails done at BBB, then I will do that. I wouldn't miss it for anything.

I want to be there. DW seems to NOT want me to be there. I guess we'll see how it plays out. We opted for the 1900 Park Fare dinner that evening over CRT.

Forgot to report...

Received our park tickets!! Ordered from Undercover Tourist. Paid the $5 for the expedited shipping, and the tickets arrived in 2 days.

We got 6 day MYW tickets with an extra day free. We have 6 days planned at the parks, and that extra day could come in handy. We have 2 days planned to just be at the resort, and our check out day where we might linger for a bit before hitting the road... it's nice to have the extra day. We're intrigued by DHS EMH on one of our resort days. They have a Disney Jr. dance party that the kids would enjoy, if they are up to it that late at night.

Shari and I made a pact...we are going to declutter things and get rid of stuff that we do not use. We plan to do this one room at a time and we started easy with the dinning room this evening....when I pulled everything from the china cabinet and buffett out I was shocked at how many things were still in boxes from when we were married 12 years ago!!!! No emotional attatchments to any of that stuff so off to goodwill it goes this week!!!

My house next :thumbsup2

Well, she won't be getting some extra quiet experience with dd. Too loud and hectic. Is she going with you to DS first haircut? I don't get it.

IMO, while th food has declined over th years at Park Fare, the food is still better than CRT. We will do breakfast at CRT but no other meals there.

Excellent meal...and to go to that much trouble was impressive and much appreciated! It was a great evening, and the kids got along famously. Thanks for making this short trip a memorable one for me and my family!!

We enjoyed the weekend as well... even though you were there.

And just to give an update - Scott's oldest DD made good on her promise to "catch and tickle" my DS... many times through the course of the day.

My kids also said they had a lot of fun with your girls.

Great, now I'm hungry again. When is the ADR window again? ;)

This restaurant is more like Chef's Table at V&A meet's Le Cellier, as there is only 1 table... so it fills quickly.
Put in the request early.

nice job!! :thumbsup2

Thanks...

I want to know how in the H E double hockey sticks that he got an ADR??? :rotfl2:

He actually reserved under a fake name - or else there's no way he would have got in.
He used the name "Sam Minella"... Jokes on him though, 'cause that's what he left with... :rotfl2:

Morning men.

I had a busy week and a couple more on the horizon.

I just jumped the last 30 pages so if I've missed something important please let me know.

So last week I had my largest client in for a 2 day visit with everyone on the service team as well as everyone in my seniority chain upto and including our CEO / Chairman. Very stressful managing all of those calendars and keeping everyone on message.

Fortunately I apparently was pretty successful in pulling this off as my client was very happy with the results of our days and I also have received comments from a number of the senior officers involved about how well I pulled everything together.

Of course this also means that I was neglecting my other clients for those 2 days (plus prep time). Also I have 4 more major client visits / meetings over the next 2 weeks including a couple of site visits, a new client introduction and a fee renegotiation. Who wants to be me? (Bueller..... Bueller).

So even though I may not be around much I would rather hang out here.

Prayers for those in need.
Praise for those deserving.
Bacon for everyone besides Captain Oblivious, he's my nemesis and he's on vacation for 2 weeks now. (I'm jealous).

Happy Birthday to Tammy! July 15th is a good day for Birthdays (my DW's is today as well).

I have been inspired by the pictures of Dinner in Canada from last night. Steaks on the grill for us tonight!

Enjoy tonight's dinner... and Happy Birthday to the Mrs.

Watching the race now and getting ready for softball later. Two games scheduled for today. These three day weekends are going by way too fast.

Happy Birthday to the DWs!

Well, she won't be getting some extra quiet experience with dd. Too loud and hectic. Is she going with you to DS first haircut? I don't get it.

She is going to be at the haircut. To be honest, I didn't question her about her not wanting me to be at the BBB. I was in survival mode. It might be more about keeping DS occupied?? :confused3 I'll talk to her about it some more. I don't want to miss anything if I don't have to. DW and DD are going to have alone time at the end of the trip when they do afternoon tea.

Our decision to do 1900 Park Fare was because we couldn't get a table for 17 people at CRT or Akershus. We're taking DD to see the princesses in town square right after BBB, so it works out that dinner later gets her lady tremaine and the stepsisters, and possible prince charming. Plus, I think they are more entertaining than the other princess dinners. Foodwise, I never have high expectations at character meals. Last time we were there, I thought it was decent.

back at work. 3rd shift this weekend. I am exhausted.
