Back in the office after a day on the road. Man, I wish I was hourly. No signs of blood on the floor so I don't know what to make of the situation. No emails, Skype, phone messages, nada. I am going to assume it is positive and see what tomorrow brings.

Baby Update:

There is nothing new to report. As of Friday, DW was dilated to 4cm. A few random contractions on Saturday, but nothing since. We did a lot of walking this weekend, but to no avail. Ryder is still firmly entrenched and does not appear to be letting go anytime soon. Another doctor appointment on Wednesday, so we'll see if there is any progress.

Anyone can pose with and empty cup. Video or it didn't happen!

I've been there! Ignore the doubters, Phil!

Good luck on Wednesday! Will be praying for Bambi. Come on out Ryder!

Let's not see pics. :scared1:

Seriously, prayers for the baby and the family.

maybe i can get down this year. last year was just nuts with brianas graduation, parties, trips, recitals.

I'll have to touch base with Randall we were talking about trying to do a meet this year at Philly Zoo when we were there in June:confused3

You need a Mr. Fusion Home Energy Reactor! :thumbsup2

dmc-12_backtothefuture_07t.jpg

I need one of those. Like to go get me a sports almanac from the future,

Yesterday we drove out to Ennis, Texas (about an hour and a half drive from us) to try to get some pictures of the kids in the bluebonnets fields around that town. Man, I have never seen so many bluebonnets in one place before! Check these out:

Great pics.

Well, I have 5 days till we leave and guess who starts feeling a cold coming on?

Sweet - Feeling like crap ownage!

Hope you feel better.

. Although there is something unsettling about "hidden parts of eastern KY" :lmao:. ...

Just make sure you get inside before the banjos start playing. There are parts of Eastern Ky that are beautiful.

Something else, I'm not sure about how others react, but I find I feel worse the day after taking cold medication. I am very reluctant to take it unless I am A) really really that bad or B) know I have a day afterwards to rest and not do anything to make my head spin.

Same here. I usually feel like I'm in a fog the next morning. It's good for getting to sleep though.

I usually take a ton of vitamin c when I first feel a cold coming on. They have those drops that taste decent. Seems to help.

I'll take cold medicine when I feel bad enough. I don't care about the side effects, they have to be an improvement.

Good morning, earlybirds!
Hey, OWNAGE!

Morning. Long time no see.

Morning Guys!

On a sad note, I have to report that once again, it is Monday. :sad2:

Had a long weekend, long as in bad, not long as in multiple days off. Youngest DD had the stomach bug Friday and Saturday, and was doing the technicolor yawn until the wee hours of Saturday. Wife had to work a few hours on Sunday, so it made for a rather uninspiring weekend.

Matt

Hope she gets to feeling better. Those stink. Literally.

Good morning :surfweb:

Watch any good basketball games this weekend? Can't help it nemesis.

Carl do you have passes to the Philly Zoo:confused3

We have zoo membership, I am a big fan. And, I can use the small zoo membership here for discounts at other zoos.

I've never been this far up on the list this late in the game. All y'all must be setting me up for something!

Keep it going. You make overtake Stopher.

um... it's time to go home, but my relief is not here yet.. :confused3

Glad you made it thru the night.

Settling in for the night in Tallahassee, FL.

Had a good 12hr drive. Met some old friends in Mobile, AL for dinner on the bay (fried shrimp and oysters), stopped only a few times for fuel/bathroom, made the traditional stop at the FL welcome center, and kids watched the muppet movie about 4 times. I think I know all the songs by now....am I a muppet or a man?

WDW by lunchtime tomorrow!
:cool1::cool1::cool1:

I hate that. We buy a new movie, bring a bunch with us, but the dds watch the same movie over and over again. Ahhhhhhhhh!

Way to go!

Yes we can. Just don't ask for my help filling out your brackets. Mine are in the tank. I had Kansas making the finals even though I don't like them. Looks like it is time to cheer for the Cardinals. The Vols let me down in the NIT, and the Lady Bonnies got thumped on by ND but at least the Lady Vols are still hanging tough.

I managed to get 3 out of 4. UNC hurt me though.

A whopper of a Monday. I get to work and boss calls and offers me a position as a COA reviewer. We are hosting the nation wide training, and while it wouldn't mean more money, it would be a resume builder and paid travel to locations in the US. Then, I am driving this week to Bowling Green, a 150 mile commute. So, while I escaped the building move madness, I had to work to get in the new application stuff. Then, it's home late, workout, print DVC documents for BWV, go to fantasy baseball draft. I get to start tomorrow at 6:00 AM, get a cashier's check for DVC, and still pack to leave Thursday night for Hilton Head. My head is spinning. All caught up and time for bed.

The highlight of the day was getting to be on the WKU college campus with the temp in the 70s and watching the girl students walk, I mean, study across campus.

Indeed and I got to see some of them today. Hollers off the Hal Rodgers Parkway were beautiful with the redbud, dogwood, and shadbush in bloom as well as some of the understory herbaceous plants that will be in bloom in a few days. Places most people wouldn't even believe exist. Extreme poverty (one family just got indoor plumbing in the mid 90's) but still content. Just a reminder that if you have your health and one or two true friends you really don't have much to complain about.

Edit... and with this post I surpassed my post count on the other forum where I can occasionally be found. Good folks on both but this is more like "home"

Congrats on the offer! More money is nice (and needed) but being recognized for your contribution is good as well.

Hope you and the family have a safe trip to HH and a relaxing vacation.

I have passes go about 8 times a year, was just checking, maybe we can a Did Dad meet at the zoo:confused3

I'll have to touch base with Randall we were talking about trying to do a meet this year at Philly Zoo when we were there in June:confused3

I missed the last disdads meet at the zoo! Let's do it! Can't this weekend. Gotta go shopping for a prom dress for DD17 then Dave and busters with the boy and his GF and family. My DD17 never wears dresses.. So I am scared something will get in my eyes when I see her wearing her prom dress!!:rolleyes1

Well, I have 5 days till we leave and guess who starts feeling a cold coming on?

Yep, I started feeling it yesterday. Took some night time cold stuff last night and slept like a baby. Unfortunately, this morning I'm having a hard time keeping my eyes open. Feeling lethargic and just blah.

So I'm hoping and praying I get over whatever I've got before Saturday morning!

And since I know you're all "counting on me" - I'm gonna try real hard. :thumbsup2

Sweet - Feeling like crap ownage!

Just go to the Dr and get a Z-pack and some good cough med, you will be all fixed up by the time you leave:thumbsup2

I think you were at WDW last time:confused3, I was thinking May or June, this way everyone has time to plan, one thing Randall & I liked was the picnic area, it could be the 1st Dis Dads picnic:woohoo:
