Again, congrats on the business. I am so envious. I would love to be able to do what you do. I once was a great donut fryer. I rocked them out. I would love to open my own business, but just don't have the guts. Again, awesome news man.

Thanks. It's coming along. Fits and starts like anything. Feast & famine, but it's coming. It seems every day I'm getting contacted by someone for something. And that's cool. I love that there are so many opportunities to market. Can't push them all, but it's great to have options so that when people ask me - can you help with x? I can say - yes I can! And it's nice that so many people have said, let me help distribute your cards for you, and ask for like 25 and then a week later as for more! One friend even said, that their company owner wants to talk about me doing all of their corporate travel. Another did that while I was in Hawaii. So the hard work and persistence is starting to pay off. I'm trying to get to over 200 fans on FB now, while also building my blog & google+ followers. All of that is helping with he publishing aspect as well, as I get these two books I'm putting together done. 1 will be more of a pictorial, and will be ready much sooner, the other will be more of a narrative, and is taking longer. Need to also have some positive results with the first before the 2nd can truly happen. So we'll see.

But as so many different people have now told me, from very different walks of my life - I'm happier now than I have been in the x number of years they've known me. That's good. I'm happy that it's showing too.

Spent the afternoon streaming the Travel Channel's Disney park shows from Netflix with the grand kids. Great way to get ready for our day in March.

But as so many different people have now told me, from very different walks of my life - I'm happier now than I have been in the x number of years they've known me. That's good. I'm happy that it's showing too.

I guess that adds to my envy. I really don't like my job. But, I just can't break away. I also know that while it stinks, if I stick it out 10 more years, then I get retirement and health insurance for the rest of my life. Plus, we have our 401Ks. At 38, that is really nice to know that my future looks good, but that means 10 more years before I'm eligible for parole ......

I hear ya! Which adds to the whole risk aversion thing at our ages. I was terrified to even try. But sometimes your perspective changes dramatically based on circumstances. Now I'm in the "if only I had...." mentality wishing I'd just bitten the bullet 10 years ago!
