I never understood why we clean for the people who see our house 10 times a year but don't clean the house for the people who live there 365 days a year.

It is a hard thing to fathom, isn't it. I keep telling DW to have people over though! It keeps the house clean that way!

Everest, hands down. There's just not that much to Kali other than one steep drop.

Morning. I'm resisting the urge to post 4 or 5 pages to pad the count. I don't know how much longer I can be successful.

So we're having a bunch of people over later for the Superbowl. What does that mean???

It's house cleaning time!

I swear - it's a good thing we have parties so this house gets clean!

Oh...and for those of you wondering...the DW has not heard anything from the lady with the car damage. Maybe she realized that she was in the wrong and needs to pay for it?! More than likely she's just a procrastinator and will call us when we least expect it!

So I went to bed early last night. Still not feeling well with this stupid cold.

This morning DW woke me up asking if I was going to get up for church or not. Usually I'm the one up first making sure everyone else gets up .

Since I wasn't getting up, DW said, well your daughter is staying home too, because she's not so well either.

So we've been having some fun while DW and the boys are at church.

DD's in her bed in her room, and I'm in mine. We've been yelling to each other (not that that's the best thing with sore throats), but it's been fun. Been cracking each other up with silly sayings.

Now she's asking if she can soak in a hot bath. Sure, why not. Enjoy it. So I need to go draw her a bath. Cuz that's what daddy's do.

So I have the opportunity to go on an Eastern Caribbean cruise in March. 7 nights. Trying to figure out a childcare situation so I can take DW along.

If I can't figure out childcare, I'm not sure what to do. I need to go for myself, it's a FAM trip (familiarization), but I want her to be able to go with me. These are the times that I hate not having family near by. Sigh.

For 10 years now we've been talking about needing to add a hot tub to our back yard.

Ugh. I wish we'd just done it already. I would love to soak in a hot tub again. I definitely enjoyed it Aulani, and at the DLR... I need one here at home.

My DD is contentedly soaking & playing in her bath. I could go take a bath, but it's not the same as sitting in a hot tub. I think I need to figure out how to add "install hot tub" in her writing on DW's Honey Do list.

Kind of a dreary day, from what I can tell looking out my window.

Glad that new stadium has a retractable roof on it for the game tonight.

I want to go back to Florida. I want a WDW fix.

I am bored now that DD is in the tub. No more yelling to each other. Think I'll find a movie to watch.
