We celebrated last night. I cooked up some NY Strips and so stuffed shrimp. DW is working late tonight.

Well...2 kids...2 different appointments...3 surgical procedures for the future.

DS12 finally got his 2nd set of Braces...soooo...with his life-time maximum for ortho was wiped out with set #1...set #2 is all on us...not that the insurance helped much with the 1st set. Then he has 1 tooth that requires a procedure to get it to come down (1)...plus he will need his wisdom teeth cut out at some point (2). Poor kid...he's gonna hate dentist for the rest of his life...well more so than most people.

DS17 has cronic sinus infections...he had a several tests done for allergies... immune system...etc... all check out OK....well now we need to see an ENT doctor for a surgical consult (3)....well at least my medical insurance will cover most of this one.

So...Monday the 13th was momentus for us.

Yikes! Well, on the bright side I do believe that entitles you to get away with just a card for today.

We did our V Day thing last night. We went out for a romantic dinner at Chili's with our screaming 2 year old who didn't nap all day. It was great.

Tonight will be a hot dog and popcorn at a HS basketball game.

I try to make it a part of my work. Helps break up the day. But then again I am in a corner room all by my lonesome with a small hall and a loud door before anyone gets in here so that makes it a bit easier.

When DW was pregnant I took her to Golden Coral (buffet), my comment to her was "Sorry it isn't steak and lobster........but I'm pretty sure I'm not getting lucky tonight."

What is the obsession on this thread about post numbers, either for individuals or in total? It reminds me of a routine by Jeff Foxworthy were the guys at a family event stand around and compare travel times.

There's a chain of convenience stores over here that has a certain chime that plays when customers walk through the door. I just went there about a half hour ago and can't get the song out of my head.

Great day today! Arrived at the Animal Kingdom around 10:00 am hit almost every atraction except everest. We ate at Yak and Yeti. Left Ak and went to kona cafe for dinner and then took old Band-aid over to the MK. Almost everything was walk on. Banner day! Everyone is very tired.

Annnnnd we're back. After tonight it's going to be one of those weeks.. Never mind pushing staff, I was practically yelling this time. Doesn't anyone appriciate having a job in this day and age anymore? Got a lot counted too..I counted more then 3 guys combined mind you, but hey, I'm that good. Not so good is having to hold the hand and guide those who are senior to me. If they want me to play Assistant Manager, then PAY me lije an Assistant Manager

For V-Day didn't get a card for DW, I hate the concept of cards, but she got a little bit of chocolate, and that new Twilight movie that just got released, and a tray of strawberries/chocolate dip. I got Peanut butter cups and a couple of books. All is good. We did the gifts yesterday, since we really don't each other much this week, conflicting scheduals

The Valentine party with the girls was a huge hit last night. We got a dusting of snow last night I was really hoping to stay in that 40 degree range for the rest of winter.

Norm, I did not include any repeats in my wife's gift.

OK guys..after reading the DIS site for a couple of years, I have to admit that I hadn't stumbled on the Disdads club, but now that I did, and I read the bylaws, I'd love to join!

-I do solemnly swear that I meet at least 120 of the descriptions in post #1.
-I do plan, organize, and arrange every one of my er, uhm, excuse me, the families trips to the World.
-I do get more excited than the kids every time we arrive at Disney World
-I have thought about quitting my job to become a Disney security guard, but the wife keeps reminding me of tuition, college, etc. (what a downer)
-I am heading to the World again in August for 2 weeks

So how about it, can I join?

Happy Valentines Day all just woke up wife made breakfest since she is out of work 7 month no cards or chocolates mutual understanding .
it is going to hopefully be a great and magical day if my tax guy says im getting back a minamum of 5000.00 I seek low and if i get high I say Disney solo trip because i need one badly
