What is the obsession on this thread about post numbers, either for individuals or in total? It reminds me of a routine by Jeff Foxworthy were the guys at a family event stand around and compare travel times.

"Made it here in five hours and twenty three minutes this year, twelve minutes less than last year."

What is it about guys and numbers?

Come back when you get your numbers up son and we can talk. ;) :lmao:

Here Mark, use mine

OK guys..after reading the DIS site for a couple of years, I have to admit that I hadn't stumbled on the Disdads club, but now that I did, and I read the bylaws, I'd love to join!

-I do solemnly swear that I meet at least 120 of the descriptions in post #1.
-I do plan, organize, and arrange every one of my er, uhm, excuse me, the families trips to the World.
-I do get more excited than the kids every time we arrive at Disney World
-I have thought about quitting my job to become a Disney security guard, but the wife keeps reminding me of tuition, college, etc. (what a downer)
-I am heading to the World again in August for 2 weeks

So how about it, can I join?

Welcome :cool1:

Excellent hope this holds out until next week! (although I doubt it will....)

Yes! Don (Emma's Dad) will be along to give you a number (unless someone goes on a posting tear and this gets lost in the shuffle). Also, feel free to join us on facebook and at dis dads dot com. Because of site rules, discussions sometimes occur in multiple locations...

Oh, and guys.

Don't forget about my planned live feed from AKL Kidani Savannah!

Looking forward to it! You will love it there.

Come back and when you get your numbers up son and we can talk. ;) :lmao:

Suburban Commandos, love it. Reminds me of something I heard about when i first came work here. Some guy had a plan to train chimps to pull the pin on grenades and throw them into hooches. The idea was to parachute them into the jungle near a VC village loaded up with grenades and have them run throw tossing them into all the huts. For some reason it never got any traction. :confused3

While Randall was under the bus changing the oil I upgraded it a bit. I hope you like what has been done.:thumbsup2

BTW, when did we lose Rob and Dave?

If by “Rob” you mean me… I ain’t lost.
I’m just suffering from a rather nasty bout of:

“oppressive work overload syndrome”

I’ll catch up with y’all later on.

If by “Rob” you meant someone else…

Never mind.

Oh, by the way… G’afternoon all

Welcome!!!

What??? Pay you to be Assistant Manager when they can get you to do the work for your current pay???

I feel your pain. :headache:

I;m at least 10 years to go before I could seriously take a run for assistant manager, seniority is everything here. But we will almost be a year with me unofficially running that position. Since our current one is on cruise control for the few months before retirement, our new boss needs help learning the ropes, so that's me, it;s already been implied. What bugs me is I'm not even in the senior positions. Makes for some GREAT jealousy issues with others though Hope I'm not the type who'd use this to stir up the sh**:rolleyes1:rotfl2::lmao::littleangel:

Well...2 kids...2 different appointments...3 surgical procedures for the future.

DS12 finally got his 2nd set of Braces...soooo...with his life-time maximum for ortho was wiped out with set #1...set #2 is all on us...not that the insurance helped much with the 1st set. Then he has 1 tooth that requires a procedure to get it to come down (1)...plus he will need his wisdom teeth cut out at some point (2). Poor kid...he's gonna hate dentist for the rest of his life...well more so than most people.

DS17 has cronic sinus infections...he had a several tests done for allergies... immune system...etc... all check out OK....well now we need to see an ENT doctor for a surgical consult (3)....well at least my medical insurance will cover most of this one.

So...Monday the 13th was momentus for us.

That just sucks...major :headache:

I have notice even with my company some managers even have the p/t count first Damn where did i go wrong . and 2 i could not do it to my bunch of adams family rejects :lmao:
good luck hope you make it thru the week:wizard:

Most our p/ts can't count :rotfl2: Just the amount of break time their co-workers take :sad2:
