Congrats on the good footing you have for your young’ens.
...At this point in history I’ve already been deprived of any possibility of retirement, so I intend to take as much of the financial hit in the near term to ensure that my boy has at least a chance at a future in the long term.
Because… that’s what you do.
I reread my post and I didn't mean to come off well to do. And, sorry if I did.
I was very fortunate. I went to a four year university and was able to pay my tuition (less than $1 grand a semester), few books (cut into my drinking money and whoever reads them anyway), and my rent for my own individual apartment was $235 per month. It was a old home converted into four, 1 bedroom apartments. I had a window AC unit in the bedroom. It was difficult, but I worked 2 jobs. I'm not 100% at Dave Ramsey about no borrowing to go to school, but I am close.
Also, I had the good fortune of my dad teaching me to work, save money, and budget. DW's mom taught her to have lots of money taken out of her check so that on tax return day, you could go and blow your big free government money bonus. Her dad taught her that she was a girl and wasn't important enough to give money to when her brother needed money more. So, she borrowed her way thru school for everything, did work for spending money, and never met a budget.
They know I am there to help them, but I want them to be able to figure it out.
I'm afraid I wouldn't know anything about that. Whatever the opposite of tech savvy is, that's me. Tech illiterate?
I just listen to it through my pc at work.
The dtuneslive has an Apple and Android AP for streaming, so I have that on my iPad. I didn't register at the site, but the AP only plays music. The D-Cot lets me search for and select the different songs I like to play. So, I now have two sites to listen to music. D-cot on my PC and Dtuneslive on my iPad. Thanks.
I love Tim Bedore

. Vague but true!
That is a good bit. I've only listened to him on Bob&Tom, but he is funny. I've seen Bob Zany and Tim Wilson live in different shows, but Tim Wilson had the best one.
