Greeting gents.

Not sure if someone else already posted this here or not, but the Disney Parks Blog has today announced the WDW ticket & resort price increases - effective this Sunday, June 3rd. So if you need tickets - get them before the prices go up.

Hope you're all doing well. Been a busy week getting ready for summer camp in just 2 weeks.

Have a great evening guys!

Hi Stopher :cool1:

Congrats on the good footing you have for your young’ens.

...At this point in history I’ve already been deprived of any possibility of retirement, so I intend to take as much of the financial hit in the near term to ensure that my boy has at least a chance at a future in the long term.

Because… that’s what you do.

I reread my post and I didn't mean to come off well to do. And, sorry if I did.

I was very fortunate. I went to a four year university and was able to pay my tuition (less than $1 grand a semester), few books (cut into my drinking money and whoever reads them anyway), and my rent for my own individual apartment was $235 per month. It was a old home converted into four, 1 bedroom apartments. I had a window AC unit in the bedroom. It was difficult, but I worked 2 jobs. I'm not 100% at Dave Ramsey about no borrowing to go to school, but I am close.

Also, I had the good fortune of my dad teaching me to work, save money, and budget. DW's mom taught her to have lots of money taken out of her check so that on tax return day, you could go and blow your big free government money bonus. Her dad taught her that she was a girl and wasn't important enough to give money to when her brother needed money more. So, she borrowed her way thru school for everything, did work for spending money, and never met a budget.

They know I am there to help them, but I want them to be able to figure it out.

I'm afraid I wouldn't know anything about that. Whatever the opposite of tech savvy is, that's me. Tech illiterate?

I just listen to it through my pc at work.

The dtuneslive has an Apple and Android AP for streaming, so I have that on my iPad. I didn't register at the site, but the AP only plays music. The D-Cot lets me search for and select the different songs I like to play. So, I now have two sites to listen to music. D-cot on my PC and Dtuneslive on my iPad. Thanks.

And by the same guy.

:rolleyes1

I love Tim Bedore :thumbsup2. Vague but true!

That is a good bit. I've only listened to him on Bob&Tom, but he is funny. I've seen Bob Zany and Tim Wilson live in different shows, but Tim Wilson had the best one.

Hate posts like this. We've been debating the AP. I know how it works now (I think) and June would be a good time to buy since DVC dues are January. It would be nice to get them even a little bit more cheaper. The thing with the AP is the renewal price makes it so great. But, with the 2013 cruise, I may only get in one trip that year, so would the renewal then be worth it?

Now, I just have to decide all this in the next day. Thanks.

Decisions, decisions :confused3

Made $35.50 at our yard sale today. Not bad for 4 hours work. OK, so that stinks. I maybe had 10 people all day. Tomorrow will be the big neighborhood sale so the garage is ready. We've got clothes and some big ticket items for sale. C'mon over and buy you some. At the same time, I was able to clean out the Disney room and hopefully made it easier so that DW doesn't trip over anything again. Now, listening to songs from POTC movie on D-Cot after listening all day to dtuneslive while we cleaned out the room.

Ours is next Saturday. I really hope we get rid of a bunch of stuff :thumbsup2

Naaaa… I didn’t take that badly. And I didn’t mean to sound snide either.
I’m honestly glad that you’re in a good spot with the tuition situation.

Evening guys

Had a little excitement this evening, had a tornado on the ground about 20 minutes from the house, small town called Elizabeth City. Fast moving storm that missed us to the north. That was few hours ago. Just walked outside, its 75 and mostly sunny now. Go figure.

A story from AP Mobile:
Ky. woman indicted in shooting death
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A Louisville woman has been charged with murder for the shooting death of another woman while police were investigating a pair of deaths up the street. A Jefferson County grand jury on Thursday indicted 24-year-old Cheetara Goldsmith. The charge stems from the May 17 shooting death of Makeba Lee in the Parkland neighborhood. Louisville Courier-Journal

Apparently, someone's mother was a big Thundercats fan.

Pretty excited about this... When my new truck was in the shop after the wreck,I talked to them about doing some painting on my old truck. It is a 1993 Chevy that I bought about 3 Weeks after I turned 16. A few years ago I was in a wreck with it and tore up the front end. I tore it down and rebuilt it, but I don't do paint. It isn't my primary vehicle so I didn't worry much about it and drive it with a primer and rust colored hood for about 3 years. I got the hood and part of the right front fender painted and a couple of dents in the bed fixed. It looks great and I'm pumped about it. The second picture shows the door which is old paint as well as the new paint on the hood and fender. Taking care of the truck and keeping it waxed had really paid off... Can't even tell the old paint from new. I just had to share, because I drove that thing home with one of the biggest smiles I've ever had on my face.

Just came back from dropping of DW and DD up north for a girl guide camping weekend.

Oh, and it cold and hasn't stopped raining all day.

They're gonna freeze... I told DW on the way up, that it's not to late to change her mind.

Oh well, she decided to tough it out. Now it's be an DS for the weekend.

May go to Canada's Wonderland tomorrow, but we'll definitely watch Stanley Cup Finals Game 2 together.

funny, but they don't look like the sort of guys who would enjoy WDW.

ugh... was hoping for one more week. My paycheck was screwed up this week and now i don't think I have the funds available to pull the trigger. I wonder if Undercover Tourist adjusts their prices the same time, or if they lag a bit behind.
