I have started a new pre-trip report for June of 2013. The link is in my signature. ....Yes I said June of 2013, actually June 2 to be more precise so exactly 1 year away. Is this too early to start a pre-trip report? We couldn't take a trip this year because of the new baby and because of this DW and I are having major withdrawals. I figured the best way to get through the withdrawals is to kick the planning into high gear for next June. Also, there is the possibility of other family members joining us which means more planning for us to do prior to the trip, so I guess I should get started! I am not near as exciting in the Trip Report category as most of you guys, but I try. I hope you enjoy!​

Wanted to do a PTR for the upcoming trip, but still haven't finished the current TR from the trip we took... oh, a year and a half ago!!

Apparently just waslked by it's tree? I walk that route at least once a week, and all week when I work nights (if I head home from dropping Amelia off, as opposed to heading to work.) IT was raining failry hard, and wind was gusting, so maybe it was aggrivating it, who knows? It percieved me as a threat anyhow.

If it perceived you as a threat, maybe that it means it was guarding a stash of bacon???

This is post 2000! Having a lot of fun around here and really appriciate you guys and always looking forward to seeing what happens next here. THanks for letting me vent the past year or so about all the work issues I've had, I am sure it's gotta get tedious after a while, (lord knows it feels that way to me) BUt you guys always make it seem not so bad, shown me other workplaces can be just as rough, and make me laugh about it later. Also, I can "go to Disney" through you all, since as DW painted out, there are still 440 more days till we check in next year That's a long time without Dole Whips or Haunted Mansions to visits. BUt the persepctives I've gained for future trips are great!

DW and I were talking in the car about next year, and we're leaning toward a shorter trip in the fall, which means no APs.​

at work now. This morning we went to the DVC 20th anniversary party. Had a good time. There was food, which we really didn't get to enjoy, a raffle that we probably didn't win, and dance floor which DD never got off of. They had meet and greets with Mickey & Minnie, then Goofy & Pluto. Afterwards, both pairs took turns on the dance floor with the kids.

Met DisDad Lee (Lnevo) at the event. He was easy to spot wearing his DisDads t-shirt!! DW asked why I didn't have one. I told her I would buy one in time for our trip.

It was a good test run for DS with characters. He seemed confused at first, and shy. But at least he wasn't completely scared. He warmed up to them a little bit later and did some nose-grabbing.

Well some good news, I've managed to stimulate the US economy with this shopping trip.

Since I have been working my yard sale and DW was at dress rehearsal all day, we haven't spoke about it, so it looks like it won't happen. My plan was to just buy it outright. I think the AP renewal price it was really makes it worth it. So, we'll probably hold off until after the cruise.

Then, FIL is giving them his Full size GMC Crew cab Sierra to drive there along with gas money for it. Yes, he is also buying them the DP with package. It gets even better. FIL asked DW to plan their ADRs with them. DW called her brother and said she would, but her brother said it was convenient for him right now but she could come over later.

Thanks all. Just to rub a little more salt in it, apparently they did not pay their Internet bill so they are mooching over to my house on Monday to book their ADRs. Thankfully, I will be out of town and don't have to see it.

While he was a terribly spoiled child from what I was told (only male grandchild on both sides), fought over in divorce custody battle, and raised mostly by grandparents, he was MP in the Army for close to 10 years, after discharge, a prison guard, and now a police officer. I would think anyone of those position would teach someone about being responsibilities and consequences. But, apparently it has not. My FIL is not a bad guy, just a terrible father.

I feel bad that they treat DW this way, and when I suggest she stop or when I tell them off again at festivus again this year, she will be mad at me.
