Yay! The room is painted! Now, I have to mow part of the lawn, get cleaned up, wait for DS to get home from school, then its off to soccer practice, with a detour or two along the way (drop of suit at dry cleaners, get some household goods at the local megastore). Post-soccer will be dinner, get the kids to bed, and put the room back together, with attendant dusting, cleaning, blah.

I think I have earned a couple of barley sodas tonight.

Imagine if the room was NOT painted...

Yeah, he was better than I thought. But, I have a show for them - 20, ten year old girls, girl siblings, their moms, and 3 dads for 2 hours in parent night at dance. The estrogen is overwhelming. HELP!!!!!

Imagine if the room was NOT painted...

Nah - I had trim and first coat on over half of it yesterday. Today was move most of the rest of the furniture out, finish the first coat & trim, and then roll on a second coat. Not too bad, although it meant DD got to watch more TV (movies, in this case) than normal.

Never was a big fan. But, I did like him ok on the show. I.had watched a few minutes of AGT before. I'm not a big fan of that show either.

The only person to try to help me. The estrogen experiment is over. We all went to Beef O'Brady's and I drank 58 ounces of draft beer and watched the Heat game. All is better except now, I can't find the tv remote.

I asked DW for a kegerator for Father's Day. My new plan is to just stay drunk on beer all the time. I may or may not lose weight, but either way, I won't care. Not sure if I can do my job intoxicated, so I may need to delay this plan 10 years after retirement and home mortgage is paid off.

Close enough. A DQ blizzard or ice cream and hot fudge isn't a baked good, but essential to a healthy diet.

Got the room painted, soccer taken care off, errands run. Was mowing the lawn, and the lawn mower busted. I can probably fix it, but the parts (and the new blade, filter, etc that it needed already) are making me think that I should just bite the bullet and get a new one anyway.

Naturally, since it was Mother's Day, there was a lack of ads for yard equipment in the paper this week. I always thought that nothing said "Happy Mothers Day" like a new lawn mower, right?

Meh. Still have to cram in my daily run before I can have a barley soda, too.
