the bursitis in my elbow is feeling better today. alot of aspercream and salonpas pain patches and its feeling better...

as reported last night, my old sciatic nerve is not happy with all the action from monday. so, i have tammy, who is thrilled to help, putting aspercream on that and salonpas pain patches on that now.

i love getting old!!!!

in all the years and all the money we have spent, the only thank you we have gotten in the mail was from dvc and our aps.

im glad there starting to thank people. every year i send my vacation letter to all my clients. the letters have the days i will be gone and a big thank you on the bottom. most of the guys i call on ive known for 20 to 30 years. after anytime i see or talk to them, i say thank you! its funny how they tell me that im the only one that they deal with thats says thank you all the time.

Some of it touched on subcontract work I oversee but nobody in dark glasses has shown up yet so must be I don't rank high enough to warrant a visit.

Disgusting. And today, from president, we got email about 12% cuts and some transparency committee will be sending the secret report on where to make cuts for next 2 years. Hopefully, I am ok, but they could announce a health insurance premium increase or decrease in benefits. Either way, the top get to make their money and pay low tax % while I and others in my range get screwed some more. BTW, since these job creators have had tax cuts for over a decade, where are all the Beverly jobs? Oops. Forgot the sheep mantra - don't illustrate whopping holes in logical argument.

Good Morning!!

been very hard to get on the boards lately. I wouldn't be on right now if it wasn't for the fact that DS is under the weather. He's had a pretty consistent fever since friday. Saw the doc yesterday and she wanted to give it another 24 hours. So, nearly 20 hours later the temp hasn't gone done. It spiked a little bit higher last night, and was back at its usual level this morning. No other symptoms at all to speak of. Hoping it might just be a weird teething thing and not anything more serious. Poor little guy is down for a nap.


At work, I was told by a co-worker that someone over her head was questioning her about my hours. I don't have any interaction with this person at all, but it seems he looked over the timesheets and saw that I was putting in for more hours than the other members of the crew. Well, since I stay later than they do, that would certainly make sense. But it has me worried, not because I did anything wrong, but because these are the people who make the decisions and if they are questioning it, they may decide something needs to change.

They are also still paying me more than the originally quoted rate, so there's also the possibility they may realize that now, even though I brought it to there attention back in February.

And I was just telling DW how things were going well with this job and I thought we'd be able to extend my SAHD contract through the next school year since it was working out so well.
